Hella trouble (Chloe x reader)

Part Thirteen: Hero

"Okay. I'll go to the hospital, see Mikey and text you later after having some time with him." You smile and kiss Chloe on the lips.

"Alright. Later shorty." Chloe says and smirks at you. "Later Chloe." You smile at her then head off in the direction of the hospital.

~at the hospital~

"Hey, I'm here to visit Mikey North is he still in the same room?" You ask the lady at the desk who nods and points to his door again. You go to his room and sneak past his dad on the phone because you obviously didn't want to disturb what sounded like a really private and personal conversation.

"Hey beanie." You say and look at Steph while leaning on the wall. "Hey y/n, how was the play? I heard Chloe performed." Steph says and looks at you. "It's was amazing. Wanna see a video?" You ask and go sit down by Steph. Steph nods and you show her the videos Drew and Mickey get interested so you show them too.

"Are you alright Mikey?" You ask and look up at him. "Yeah. Today do you want to finally sign my cast?" Mikey asks and lifts his arm. "Yes kind wizard, I will sign your cast." You bow and grab a sharpie to sign. You put "if lost return to two nerds x" and smile at him. "You and Steph the nerds?" He asks with a smirk. "Get me a magazine." You demand Steph to scare Mikey. "I'm kidding! Jeez if Drew's scared of them I'm terrified." Mikey laughs it off. "It only hurts bad if it's by the ears." Drew whispers so you give him a death glare.

"So last night was chaotic." You sigh and fall onto the sofa by Drew. "Wait why?" Steph asks and turns her chair to face you. "So before the play me and Chloe kinda" you start to say before Steph jumps in with. "Hooked up?". "NO! Oh my god no! Just.. kisses a little. Nothing too much. We spent the night at Rachel's because she needed support for something I'm not gonna say. I had a nightmare and Chloe managed to calm me down. It was really sweet actually." You say and smile remembering everything.

"Our Chloe? Who does drugs and is kind of an asshole sometimes?" Mikey asks and snaps his good fingers to get your attention. "Yeah. I mean we both like each other and we're not dating but we're not single either.." you mumble. "That's so sweet!! I can't believe you've got a girlfriend before me!" Steph says and punches your arm playfully. "Like I said not my girlfriend. Just someone I occasionally make out with." You say and smirk. "And your fine with that arrangement?" Mikey asks raising an eyebrow. "I mean yeah. Chloe doesn't seem like the kind of girl too have a proper stable relationship." You mutter and kick your shoe annoyed. "Did you ask?" Drew buts in. "No because if it's a no it'll be awkward." You say and give him a look. "Isn't it awkward to just make out?" Steph asks and looks. "okay enough with the questions!" You shout and cross your arms.

"Fine we'll drop it." Steph says sarcastically and rolls her eyes. You roll yours and read some of the comics Drew brought for Mikey while he plays with Steph. You keep reading and hear a screech of the hospital tables running down the hallway. Your too curious to not check the hallway so you open Mikey's door and peek out to see what happened. You see the nurse pushing a girl back who had a familiar figure. You fully go out to the hall and see who it is.

"Chloe?" You ask and run up seeing her having a full breakdown. "Chloe, Hey hey! What's happened?" You ask her and hold her arms to keep her still. "Damon attacked Rachel." Chloe cries out. "WHAT?! When?!" You start to panic. "At the junkyard. When you left Frank called saying if he could meet me or not. He came and Rachel was there and Damon had a knife." Chloe explains with flood's running out of her eyes. "If I didn't get the truck started I'm not sure what would have happened." Chloe cups her face and cries. You pull her into a tight hug and hold her letting her cry and letting her feelings be expressed.

Chloe keeps crying and holds onto you tight. "This is all my fault. If I hadn't called Frank or I hadn't opened the door to save Drew Mikey and Rachel might not have been in the hospital right now." Chloe cries blaming herself. "This is not your fault. Don't blame yourself. You didn't do anything." You make Chloe look you in the eyes. "Chloe you saved them okay? You saved Drew, and you mended the truck that might have saved Rachel's life. She will be okay Chloe. Just breathe, calm down and we'll explain what happened to James and Rose." You say trying to calm Chloe and hold her face to keep eye contact.

You sit down with Chloe in the waiting room and hold her hand so she doesn't feel alone. "I've got you." You whisper. When James and Rose run in asking the nurse where Rachel is they don't notice you two until they've asked everything they could about their daughter. When they finally turn around you rub Chloe's back in support as she explains everything about what happened to Mr Amber. James nods along and gathers the information before going back to see his daughter. "Chloe.. you did the right thing." You reassure her and rub her hand gently. "Thank you y/n." Chloe mutters out and wipes her face acting like she hadn't been crying.

You kiss the top of her head softly. "No problem. Your there for me so I'm there for you." You say and stroke her blue hair strains behind her ear. Chloe rests her forehead on yours and breathes in carefully. "I'm glad I have you." Chloe says and let's out a sigh. "I'm glad I have you too." You say and smile at her. "Shall we check on Mikey while Rachel's with her parents?" You ask and rubs Chloe's arm gently. She nods and takes your hand as you walk her to Mikey's room.

~Mikey's room~

"Hey guys." You say and hold Chloe's hand inside the room. "Hey lovers." Steph says teasing about the hand holding. "Shut up before I get the magazine." You laugh and point at them. "Or I get a knife." Chloe mumbles and you nod you head no. "Hey Chloe. Wanna sign my cast?" Mikey offers her and shows her the sharpies. Chloe smiles and chuckles. She heads over to him and draws an armour set on the cast and maybe a mini dick to annoy him. "There you go buddy." Chloe laughs and puts the pen down.

"So you guys are together?" Drew asks and points at you and Chloe. "No. We're not together we're just.. casually make out buds." You say and give him a glare. "Yeah." Chloe nods and kinda puts a forced smile on that you see right through. "Chloe, do you wanna join us in a game of D&D?" Steph asks her and lifts a cover off of one of mickeys old food trays. "Sure nerds. Let's play." Chloe says and regains her smile. You admire her having fun playing with your best friends and chill by Drew before he has to play as his little gremlin that Chloe chooses to sacrifice making you giggle.

As the games over and Barb the elf Barbarian is killed with Elamon's spell to get away from the undead army, you decide to get your punk and go check on Rachel. "Shall we go?" You ask Chloe wrapping your arms around her neck while she was sitting down so she looks up at you. "Sure." Chloe says and grins up at you. "Sure they're just make out buddies." Drew mumbles. "Oh shut the fuck up Drew." You say and flip him off before taking Chloe's hand to go to Rachel's room.

"Which rooms Rachel's again?" You ask and look up at the tall punk. "The one at the end of the corridor." Chloe says and holds your hand a little tighter. "Hey is gonna be okay." You reassure her and gently stroke her hand with your thumb. "Yeah, your right. Let's go shall we?" Chloe asks and looks at you with a smirk. "Hell yes." You say and smile back at her. You both walk up the hallway and see Rose all upset.

"Hey Rose, are you okay?" You ask with sympathy in your eyes. "Mhm.. yes girls. Don't worry about me I'll be fine. I just can't believe they did that too her." Rose says slight getting more and more upset. You let go of Chloe's hand and quickly hug her. "Everything's gonna be okay." You whisper and comfort rose. She nods. "Please don't let me bother you. Go check on Rachel." Rose says and wipes her eyes. "You sure?" You ask and hold Chloe's hand again. Rose nods and moves so you both can go through.

"Hey Rachel." Chloe says as you both enter the room.
