GIVE ME LOVE (WINRINA AU)

CHAPTER 14

Winter found Yeji's car and immediately runs towards it.

"what are you doing? It's late, Yeji." Winter said as she hops inside the car. "I told you not to come."

"if I told you, will you let me?" Yeji folds her arms.

"I won't." Winter looks at her. "where do you wanna go?"

"I just wanna see you." Yeji takes her hand. "can I ask you something?"

"sure." Winter shrugs.

"will you go to my place?" Yeji looks at Winter with pleading eyes.

"uhm... what for?" Winter is getting nervous.

"do you mind... staying the night?"

Winter's brain froze upon hearing that. She can't think of anything innocent about it. On the other hand, there's no way Winter left her after driving here alone, late at night.

"I'll take you to the bus stop tomorrow." Yeji continues her offer. "please?"

Yeji walks into her unit with Winter beside her. she shows Winter her unit briefly before she goes to the kitchen, while Winter sits on the couch.

For Winter, this apartment is way better than hers. If possible, one day, she'll have this kind of property.

"you should eat first. You can't go to sleep starving." Yeji sits beside her, placing a simple food for Winter. "I'm sorry, I can't cook."

"it's okay. I'm happy with this." Winter grabs the plate and starts eating.

"I'm gonna change first. Do you want to borrow my shirt?" Yeji stands up.

Winter looks up at her with cheeks full of food. Yeji screams internally because of how cute she is.

"okay. I'll give you my shirt." Yeji ruffles her hair before going to her room.

Winter feels like a child all over again. It's like she has an older sister when it comes to Yeji. even so, she's still thinking of proposing to her. it is confusing, of course, but Winter will always follow her heart.

"are you done?" Yeji sits beside Winter.

Winter looks to the side, seeing Yeji with minimal coverage on her body. She immediately looks away, taking some gulps of the drink.

"yup." Winter gulps. "I'll change."

Winter goes to Yeji's room to quickly change. Lucky for her, she likes to wear boxers instead of panties. The oversized shirt helps with covering her lower part.

"Winter!" Yeji bursts into the room.

Winter jumps a little, surprised by her sudden presence.

"ready to sleep?" Yeji approaches her with a smile. She then looks down, seeing Winter holding the shirt down to cover her front. "you can cover yourself with a blanket."

Winter quickly gets on the bed and pulls the sheet towards her. soon, Yeji joins in, lying beside her.

"do you sleep at this hour?" Yeji asked. "how about the lights? Are you comfortable?"

"it's perfectly fine, Yeji." Winter turns to face her fully, lying on her side. "you can sleep first."

"okay." Yeji moves forward. She takes Winter's arm and wraps it around her neck while Yeji snuggles on her chest.

Winter awkwardly adjust her position since she's never been this close to someone. Once everything is set, Winter closes her eyes, forcing herself to sleep.

Even after minutes, Winter is still struggling. She can no longer move because Yeji is sleeping still on the same position. Looks like she's very much comfortable in Winter's embrace.

Winter decided to make herself more comfortable in any way desperately. Though the room is perfectly comfortable, her position is not the best. In the middle of that, Yeji finally turns around, facing the other way. That way, Winter can fully be a big spoon for her.

Being this close to Yeji makes Winter's heart beats faster. She doesn't know why it happens. Maybe she's excited, nervous, or scared. Winter can't even understand the new feelings.

At last, Winter takes a deep breath then let it out slowly as she relaxes. Again, she tries to sleep that night.
