Yeonjun: guys I have a feeling that we'll be on the same group again

Chaehyun: what are we gonna make?

Yeonjun: GAMES!!!

Yeonjun: please!!!

Kai: dude stfu

Chaehyun: we can do that

Chaehyun: please make it educational

Yeonjun: and fun!

"who's that?"

"my group project." Winter replied to Soobin. They're having a break time at the back of the store.

"sounds fun." Soobin commented. "are they?"

"they're quite unique." Winter stifles a laugh, staring at her phone.

"stop waiting on her." Soobin noticed. "she won't text you anymore."

"I still miss her." Winter let out a trail of smoke from her mouth. "how's your new year?"

"look." Soobin lifts up his left hand. "I'm engaged."

Winter looks at the ring on his finger. She can only smile at him.

"that's great. Congrats."

"but I don't think I'm going anywhere, though. I wanna have more for her." Soobin sighs. "anyway, how's yours?"

"I don't really think about it. days are days, nights are nights. Nothing different."

"I hope you moved on." Soobin shrugs. "there's a lot of girls who wants to be with you. relax."

"yeah. There's one."

*FLASHBACK*

Winter just finished her last day of final exam. She grabs her phone, checking for a new message. Sadly, after three months of hoping, Winter haven't got a single message from Yeji. She throws her phone on her bed while groaning.

DING

Winter hurriedly grabs her phone, almost jumping on the bed. Thinking that it's Yeji, she quickly opens it as well. Her excitement died down after finding out who's texting her.

Chaehyun: hey Winter :)

Chaehyun: the professor emailed me

Chaehyun: he wants to know about our project

Winter: what about it?

Winter locked her phone after replying.

Winter got a mail notification from her professor. She haven't opened it yet because the subject said 'regarding to your project' and Winter thinks negatively about it.

Chaehyun: I told him to send you an email

Chaehyun: sorry for the late reply

Winter: it's alright

Winter: is there something wrong?

Chaehyun: I don't know. he said that he wants to talk to you

Chaehyun: maybe because you're the one that made it, mostly

Winter: we made it. I'll forward the mail to you.

Chaehyun: right haha

Chaehyun: okay then

Chaehyun: Merry Christmas!

Winter smiles to herself upon reading her text.

Winter: Merry Christmas

Chaehyun: I hope you have a happy holiday. Touch some snows! :D

Winter: I'm not good with cold weather

Chaehyun: then you must be born on winter

Winter: that's right

Chaehyun: I wish we can spend more time this holiday. Too bad I'm out of town with my family :(

Winter: oh really? Where do you come from?

With that question, the two begins to text a lot more often.

"who's it?" Soobin asked her.

"a friend from my online class." Winter purses her lips.

"then why are you still hoping on Yeji?" Soobin raised an eyebrow.

"I just miss her. her attention, texts, calls, and her company. every night I used to fall asleep to her voice. She snores a little, which is cute."

"so, technically, you just miss what she did to you?" Soobin made sure. "basically, you're lonely. Is that what you're trying to say?" he sighs. "do you love her?"

"I don't know. I felt like that but I don't know if that's love."
