CHAPTER 71

Karina found Winter in her now study room. she doesn't really stay there to work. Most of the time, she's in that room to brainstorm or playing games.

"oh! Good thing you're here. I just found something. In fact, I was just talking to my friends about it." Winter excitedly told her.

"what is it?" Karina walks over to her, looking at her monitor.

"so I have an idea for a new project." Winter opens up some files on her computer. "I'll make a proposal and send it to my professor."

"don't you think it's better for you to start it yourself? If you keep submitting proposals to him, there's a chance that he'll take advantage of your brain." Karina advised. "look how much you've upgraded your PC. You can do this without your professor."

"what if I invited my friends here?" Winter looks at her.

"sure. It's okay." Karina smiles. "I'll give you my support. Just do what you do best."

"thanks, Karina." Winter stands up and hugs her. "I'm craving something."

"are you on your period?" Karina rubs her hair. "what do you want?"

Karina sleeps on Winter's side after she got eaten by the younger girl. Winter's energy is no joke, Karina has to ask her to stop no matter how good it felt.

"I'll get you a drink. Wait." Winter slips out of Karina's embrace.

Karina is dead tired, she can't even open her eyes. soon, Winter comes back with a glass of water.

"here." Winter sits on the bed.

Karina grabs Winter's arm, pulling her for a deep kiss.

"come here and cuddle me." Karina commanded her.

Winter clears her throat nervously, going back to lay on Karina's side.

"if I can't walk tomorrow, that's your fault." Karina lightly hits Winter's chest.

Winter pulls her closer, embracing her fully.

"I can't help it. you taste so good." Winter kissed the top of her head. "I don't mind missing a dinner or two."

"but now I'm the one who's hungry." Karina huffs.

"I'm on my-"

"I'm hungry for real!" Karina opens her eyes, looking at Winter.

"oh..." Winter then reaches for her phone on the side table. "have a rest. I'll order something."

Karina wakes up in the morning with a sore body, especially her legs. She sits up and tries to stand up. Her legs feels like jellies.

"Winter!!!" Karina called.

"yes, love?" Winter bursts into the room.

"help me." Karina sulks.

Winter stifles and walks towards her. she helps Karina to go to the bathroom.

"do you want me to bathe you?" Winter feels guilty. "I'll bathe you for real."

Karina looks at her for a few moments before nodding slowly. Winter smiles before turning on the shower for Karina. she checks the temperature before letting Karina sit on the seating inside the shower. She takes the shower and starts washing Karina's body.

"your legs okay? I'll massage them." Winter gently massages Karina's legs, starts on the left then to the right. "I'm sorry."

"at least I enjoyed it." Karina giggles.

"my friends will come today. You know, for the project." Winter informed.

"already?"

"yep. Probably later in the afternoon. We'll be in my study room." Winter added. "I'll tell you when they're here."

"okay."

After the shower, Karina feels a little better. One thing that takes longer time for Karina to get ready is covering up the bruises on her neck. Winter helps her drying her hair.

"don't break the apartment. If you wanna smoke, open the balcony, smoke there." Karina warned. "if you want, I can bring home some snacks for you all."

"roger that. Don't bother to buy anything. They're my friends. I'll serve them something."

Winter is hanging out in her room, playing some games before her friends come. After feeling a little bored, Winter gets out of the room and chill out on the couch.

Yeonjun: what floor are you on?

Winter: 53rd

Chaehyun: we're going up

Shortly after, the lift opens up, revealing her three friends.

"sheesh... I'll ask my dad to buy me a penthouse." Yeonjun commented.

"come in, guys." Winter walked to them, guiding them in. "we'll talk about it in my room."

"I see lots of doors." Kai shrugs.

Winter walks towards her study room, followed by the other three.

"this is cosy." Chaehyun looks around the room. "this beanbag is so cute!" she sits on it.

"I'd rather sleep." Yeonjun sits on the couch, lazily rests himself there. "your dad must be rich."

"yeah, kind of." Winter sits on her chair. "you can take your time... I guess."

"so, I have some input on our project." Kai started. "we have to think about how to launch it as well. Not to mention the publication."

"I think my dad can help with that. We're gonna start slow. I don't wanna rush it and put pressures on you guys."

"are we gonna keep coming here?" Chaehyun asked.

"if it's okay with you guys. I also think that we can have our own... company." Winter let out her thought.

"nah... you can have that, man. I do this because I wanna hang out with you all. Except this bitch." Yeonjun laughs looking at Kai. "chill out, Winter. You do you. For me, I do this for fun." He shrugs.

"that's a great plan, Winter. Sadly, I can't join you. My dad has always been disagreeing with what I do. I have to listen to him and I can't do this for life." Chaehyun explained.

"I'll take whatever you give me. Parents don't give a shit. I can get my money and I'm good." Kai chimed in. "let's start."
