Winter walks into the bedroom after her friends had gone home. She sees Karina on the bed and quickly joins her.

"are your friends gone?" Karina asked plainly.

"yes, they are." Winter snuggles on her. "are you mad?"

"who wouldn't be mad seeing their partner having a moment with someone else?" Karina rolls her eyes. "what were you doing? You were drinking as well."

"we're just being honest to each other." Winter said truthfully. "you know what she said?"

"what?"

"she likes me. you know what I said?" Winter acted innocent with her tone.

"so, you just let her stare at you like that? looked like you guys are about to kiss." Karina huffs.

"I said 'Karina already has my heart and I can't imagine my life without her.' that's what I said to her." Winter looks at Karina in the eye.

"yeah, right." Karina scoffed.

"you don't believe me?" Winter pouts. "we didn't do anything."

"the problem is, we never do that, Winter." Karina sighs. "when you're free, I'm busy. When I have time, you either work or have something to do elsewhere."

"but we always make time for each other."

"I know. I guess I just wanna be selfish. All I wanna do is be with you. of course, I can't think like that. I have a job and you have too."

Winter looks down, linking her arm on Karina's.

"I'm sorry."

"I'm scared that you'll get bored because I don't really ask for something from you. you must think that loving me is easy." Karina poured her heart out.

"I will never get tired of you. you've been with me through everything, not in a demanding way or a toxic way. you're just... the best thing in my life. I couldn't ask for anything better than this."

"really?" Karina looks at her.

"I'm dead serious." Winter looks back at her. "like I told you all the time, you can ask for anything and I'll do anything in my power to make it happen. I will give my all to you."

Since everything about the program's development is basically done, Winter decided to spoil herself a little, going through an online shop. She keeps scrolling without buying a thing for hours now.

"I've never seen you on your phone that long. What are you looking at?" Karina noticed.

"just... online shopping." Winter looks up. "I wanna buy something but I think I already have enough stuff."

"spoil yourself for once." Karina joins her on the couch. "buy a gaming chair, headphones, keyboard, ipad, whatever you want."

"they're still great to use. I don't have an ipad but I don't think I need it." Winter sighs. "see how I wanna spoil myself but I can't?"

"then save it. maybe you can use it for food, traveling, or something else." Karina suggested.

"I'll save it then." Winter then turns on the TV, about to watch a series.

"okay." Karina leans on her.

"wait. I just remember that Yeonjun has PS5. He said it's better than PC games." Winter takes her phone.

"you're gonna buy it?"

"yep. oh..." Winter's smile turns to frown.
