Sofitia opened the door to Ophelia's house and found it was empty. She left a small bowl of rice out, meaning she was in the middle of cooking when Lucy took her. Sofitia sat on the couch and held onto a small blanket she bought for when they had movie nights. Carmen knocked on the door and entered to see Sofitia on the sofa. She gave them a bottle of water and promised she'd find Ophelia and give Lucy a piece of her mind. There was no way the Crypters were getting away with involving innocent bystanders. Besides, Ophelia was a friend of the White Bishop, there was no way he'd let her get hurt.

Sofitia didn't look at her, it was bad enough that the Platted Knight escaped, they just wanted to lie down and think. Carmen left, heading back outside to meet with the others of Chaldea who were outside a small house near the church. Akko dragged Abhimanyu out as the boy blew up the kitchen after trying to cook potatoes and the others were cleaning. It wasn't much, but the church gave it to them after Yu got a job. The assassin kicked a flower pot over, visibly infuriated about her situation. She had her hair in twin tails and wore a white dress with some color in the skirt. The others convinced her to act as Hinako to get close to the church and it was cheaper to ally with them than pay for a mortgage.

She dragged herself into the house, and glass was heard breaking inside as Nero yelled at her. Akko shrugged. She was going to be a pain, but she was the one who went to the church under the name "Hinako Akuta." He leaned in and whispered to Carmen to join him and the others at Alisha's bar. There was something the librarian wanted to show them.

Molay sat at a counter with a drink in his hand as Alisha presented Chaldea with three weapons: a shield, a staff, and a gun. Carmen picked up the shield and found it was close to the one she got in Egypt. Alisha explained that they melted the cannon back into the original weapons, only changing the bow to a gun as it fit Xiatian better. And thanks to Cleopatra and Abhimanyu doing chores, all three were paid for. Abhimanyu picked up the small gun and felt its weight, it was lighter than the god-killing cannon and when it wrapped wire around his arm, he didn't feel a heavy strain on his body when he blasted the target Molay set up. He was happy he had a weapon that was unique to him.

He ran off as Helena picked up the staff, she tossed it between hands before setting it down again. She didn't want it. She was a book caster, and with Mitra using his fists, neither of them needed it. Alisha sighed, putting it aside if they changed their minds. There was one more situation Carmen wanted to ask Alisha about, Ophelia was missing and she didn't trust the White Bishop's word. Alisha agreed to help look for Ophelia under the condition they take care of a few things, as usual with the underworld. The woman introduced a young girl to Chaldea, her name was Yang Guifei, and she had a request for them.

She sat down and explained that she wanted them to look into the deaths of her old friends. She was being blamed for their murder and ran from the enforcers until Molay caught her. She was determined to know who killed her friends and why they wanted to blame her for it. She also wagered it had something to do with the church, as they cleaned the crime scene quickly before the council saw what happened.

"Yu," Carmen said as she dried her hair after a shower. "Can you look into how the church deals with crime scenes?"

"I can try," Yu put her hair up and placed the symbol of Q'yth-Az on her jacket. "Why?"

"I think they're tampering with the scenes to convict someone."

"I'll try to push for a job when I can, but they're suspicious of me as it is. Hinako's involvement in China and Japan didn't go unnoticed."

"Be careful."

Yu glanced at Carmen before she departed the house, "I don't plan on letting Chaldea go, so don't worry about me."
