Chapter 3: Calmer Beginnings

Sonny would soon awaken as he sat up rubbing his eyes and yawning while looking around the den before noticing some food on a flat stone and Skyler sitting asleep next to the mat and seeing as it was now nighttime, he'd get up taking the food and rubbing his hand on Sky's head before walking out the den entrance to see the night sky, sitting in the grass and looking at the stars as he ate, he would look at the placement of the moon seeing as it was past midnight.

Sonny yawned largely, "Everything happened so.. quickly..." He'd saying setting the stone down still looking at the moon.

Skyler seemingly out of nowhere would answer, "A lot of things will in life."
Sonny's eyes widened, "AH-!" He'd scream backing up quickly turning and looking at her as he did.
Skyler just looked at him, "Relax kid it's just me." She'd calmly say.
Sonny glared, "Don't sneak up on me like that!" He'd yell out, "I thought you said your senses were good." Skyler would question,
"Not when I'm zoned out." Sonny would growl in annoyance.
"Still." Sky would just say, "Ugh." He'd groan as he went to sit next to her and she would sit down and he would simply lean against her.

Skyler glanced to him, "You passed out so I just left the food next to you as I didn't wanna wake you up. Speaking of which, how'd ya sleep anyway?" She'd simply tell him as Sonny looked down, "I slept better than I thought I would.." Skyler smiled lightly, "Good."

Sonny looked down at the sand by the lake, "Also.."
Skyler looked at him curious as to what his question could be,"Hm?" Sonny looked at her, "When could a wolf learn to cook??"
Skyler just smiled more, "I have my ways, why, ya wanna learn how?" She'd offer the skill.

. . .No answer. . .

Skyler looked at the boy, "Sonn-" She'd look over noticing he was asleep against her.
Skyler just chuckled lightly, "Heh." She'd gently carry him to the mat with the flat stone and set the stone down and curl up next to Sonny wrapping her tail around him.

The next day

Skyler would wake up seeing Sonny still asleep as she'd get up and go to another section of the den then come back with a bundle of clothes setting them next to him.
"I'm assuming they'll fit, but if not you'll grow into them."
She'd walk off tidying things up around the den before Sonny woke up.

Sonny stretched and blinked slowly, "Hm..?" He'd noticed the bundle of clothes and would take them going to a room of the den and change into them.
He would look at himself in front of a mirror set against the wall as he was now wearing a dark purplish blue Gi and Obi with blue waves on the ends of the sleeves for the pants and top, as well as the color being the same color of blue, as there was a right yellow crescent moon emblem with four stars of the same color around it on the back.

Skyler would walk over and stand by the door respecting his privacy. "That's the Moon Gi, I hear it has special properties such as being temperature adapting, meaning you'll never get too hot or too cold in it and it'll stay warm in the cold and cold in the warmth, unless you're in the desert or snow lands, it's mainly good for natural temperatures, not pure ones."
Sonny smiled largely forgetting about the past few days, "Thanks Sky, this thing looks awesome!"
Skyler just nodded, happy that he liked it, "Mhm." Skyler then looked at him now that he was ready, "Now time to train, you need to master yourself, in other words learn your other abilities and strengths." Sonny smiled as he looked at her, "Okay, but question, how do I do any of that?"

Skyler blinked, "Oh.. I see, well, you need to sit in a peaceful location and clear your mind, eventually the correct thoughts for this will come to you, understand?"
Sonny raised his finger before abruptly answering with: "Still no."

She'd make a small sigh. "Okay, so try and sit next to the lake with your eyes closed until you feel a certain type of energy or a new energy, once that happens, embrace it, focus on it, alright?"

Sonny hopefully knowing what she meant would nod, "I think so."
Skyler sighed in relief, "Okay good."

He would go outside and sit by the lake doing as he was told to, sitting criss cross with his eyes closed and would begin breathing in and out. He would soon have meditated for hours seemingly unnoticed soon before he'd sense something, thinking it was what Skyler was telling about he'd close his eyes tighter when out of nowhere something crashed in the ground infront of him throwing him back against the side of the den. "Wha-!?"
