Wolves of Valor

Chapter 5: Sonnys older and ruthless brother Jupiter.

Sonny would just be sitting on the mat holding the blade still in it's sheath by the sheath as he was examining it, "Hm.."
Sonny looked at it closer, "This sword is really cool looking, can I keep it?" Despite what just happened with it, he still had the audacity to ask that.
Skyler sighed and glared at him, "I still told you not to pick it up, considering how it tried to possess you and maybe even kill you, there's no way that thing can stay." Sonny just frowned, "But Sky. ." He whined only to be cut off by a strict sounding, "No." From Skyler when Sonny suddenly thought of an idea, "Okay so what if I manage to take control and master it, then can I keep it?" He smiled and looked at her, "If you some how manage to make it your blade, you can keep it." Skyler would mainly agree to this only cause the sword itself looked familiar to her. Sonny just gave a big smile to her answer, "Okay deal!"

Skyler just sighed softly as she sat down, "Well come on, let's eat, better get your strength up so you can control it."
She'd say as she slide over a large flat rock with a lot of fruit on it and while they ate a rumble would happen some distance away as they heard yelling. "Hm.. I'll go investigate." Skyler would say, she didn't want her den being put at risk or others being put at risk. "I'm coming with." Sonny would say as he grabbed the sword by the sheath.

Skyler looked at him, there was no way he would handle a true fight at his level, "No." She'd say abruptly.
Sonny looked at her, "They may want the sword, and I don't want them harming this home for it." He'd try to convince, and considering he wanted to protect the den, she was more fine with the idea as she sighed, "Ugh fine whatever, let's just go." He'd nod getting on her back as they rushed out towards the village where the yelling was happening, although she could've just taken the sword with her and go to the village herself, this could also be a chance to see if Sonny manages to take full control and ownership of the blade as well, it was a win win situation here. When they made it to the area there was a large puff of dust as a bunch of guards stood in front of it with staffs and spears.

The first guard would stand in leather armor, he was probably the most experienced due to a scar across his face, maybe he was a higher up from the Kingdom of the Country of Seekers they all resided in as he guarded the village of Brooketown, "Stat your business!" He'd shout in one strong command.
The mysterious figure would just say in a calm tone, "Move." Clearly not the type to take orders.

Another guard in leather armor called back to the squad leader, "He isn't budging! Do we attack??" He'd hold his staff rightly as another guard in the same armor as the second one mentioned would call out the word, "Attack!" The men would rush in at the somewhat tall figure before a bunch of slashing sounds were heard along with a bunch of glowing bright blue crescent blades of energy flying at the men as there was a lot of screaming when it happened then a long silence as the dust covered the whole scene but still made it somewhat visible as they could see only shadow figures within the dust.
Soon the tall figure would begin walking closer and closer to the two watching, as the figure was passing in between the rows of dead guards slowly walking out of the dust revealing his look and rather emotionless expression towards them, looking down upon Skyler and with the same bored tone and word, "Move." He would command as Skyler would stand her ground with a powerful, "Over my dead body."

"That can be exchanged." Was the words finally spoken to spark up a fight as Skyler would stand her ground with her eyes glowing purple and as the man raised his hand about to slash her, Sonny would dash in front of her holding the sword handle ready to unsheath the mysterious blade, "Lay a finger on her and I'll destroy you!" He called out protecting her, "Sonny, what are you doing!?" She'd question, he was just a kid after all, but he hadn't even unlocked his demon as mentioned in the previous chapters. The world was filled with powerful dangers, she knew what they can do cause she's existed for awhile but what could he possibly do?
