The group had walked on, their injuries having healed more, fortunately none of them were regular humans otherwise they'd have been dead long ago, even Blade was stronger than the average human, probably being the son of Rai gave him superhuman traits. As they walked the land, it constantly grew hotter, they had been traveling for about five days now, and they had all rested up when they needed to and then proceeded onward.

Hazel groaned and sighed, "Why the hell is it so damn hot!?" She would whine, she did have an excuse to complain, she was covered in fur after all. "Probably because of that." Zen would answer as he pointed forward at the borderline of dry ground with some thin grass that was connected and bordering a vast fully sand filled desert.

Hazel upon the sight of this discovery had her jaw dropped and eyes widened "We have to travel through that....?" She would ask hoping for the answer of no to be spoken. "Yes. Especially now, I can sense Skylers presence, it's extremely small and hard to notice it, but it's there." Sonny would say as his eyes glowing blue, but only slightly. Hazel upon hearing this news would have an instant morale boost, "Well then, I guess we head out then. Let's goo-!" 'Wait.' She was interrupted by Blade who was facing them.
Sonny blinked and looked to the swordsman, "Blade, what is it??" He'd tilt his head now curious as to what he has to say.
Blade sighed seeing that what he was about to say was clearly foreshadowed when Elra first mentioned it.
"A little while back, me and Elra had a private discussion, we both agreed to this and decided that if something were to happen to either me or Elra, which ever one was still here would go and hunt down the man that killed my father Rai, and well, since Elra was taken, that job has landed on me, I have to do this as I made it a promise to her, and she made it a promise to me." He would say in a serious tone, clearly having made up his mind to go now. Sonny hearing this decision would nod in agreement, "Very well then, understood. Until we meet again, good luck on taking that bastard down." Sonny would encourage as he smiled and threw a fist in the air.

Zen would look at Blade, "You don't need us to help you?" He would ask, sure Elra and Skyler needed to be found but he was still willing to offer.
Blade shook his head, "No, you guys have your own mission and I have mine. So when I defeat this asshole, we'll meet again, whether it be a day, a week, maybe even a year or two, we will meet again." Blade would say clearly not willing to stop until his job was done. "Gotcha, good luck then." Zen would say simply as Blade nodded and bowed to them as a sign that he was off, Sonny looked to Blade before doing the same back, "We'll tell Elra you said hi for ya!!" He'd give a large smile as Blade smiled back, "I appreciate that, thanks. Anyway, I'm off!" He'd flash step away.

Sonny looking back at the others would think before speaking, "Okay, now we're down to three people, which decreases our chances of beating an Archangel, which means we really need Skyler with us." He would say a bit cautiously, Zen nodded, "Right, well, let's go then, we just made it to the desert country of Mortem." He would say casually despite the name, "Yay.... Sounds fun." Hazels sarcasm was clear enough to produce an aura of defeat around her, and despite this Sonny just smiled, "Alright then! Let's goooo!!!!" He'd dash forward into the desert followed by the other two as they had begun their long journey into the godsforsaken desert. (hehe get it? Cause there's other gods in this story? Y'know- okay I'll stop.)
Blade himself had begun his journey to his new target as he had sensed something familiar from his childhood and couldn't quite pass on it, and soon he would ready his sword, ready what food he had and make way to his new mission.

Meanwhile, Elra herself would be chained to a wall with her head tilted down, her wings after the fight were now fully disabled, she looked at the floor thinking this was it and how things took a turn for the worse so quickly. She say to herself: “Sonny, whatever you do, don't you dare come to get me back, Heavens are way beyond even your power....” Her despair had started to take over as she knew Heaven was strong and she didn't want Sonny hurt or even dead because she needed to be saved, all she could try and do is manifest a reality where Sonny doesn't save her, and even if she did die in the end, she'll have Rai and her and Phoenix could live an actual happy life. . .
