It was a rainy day, not too hard but hard enough to get the group wet, they would take shelter in a cave before continuing their journey at the end of the storm. Around the middle of their trip they would train and other times they would walk with the Silver Wolf Tribe, overall things seemed oddly smooth as they kept walking, they had been at this journey for a few days which felt like weeks.
Elra: "Have you picked up any scent of her?" Elra would finally ask, now bored.
Hazel and Sonny: "Nope." They sighed.
Blade: "You gonna start complaining again?" He glared at her.
Elra: "You gonna stop me!?" She challenged.
Blade: "Maybe I a-!!" before he could finish Zen would slam Blades and Elras heads into each other knocking them both out and dragging them along, 'You two should just shut up instead.' He mumbled annoyed.
Sonny: "Well, we're doing this and I said you were gonna see Skyler again Elra so you will."
Elra: "True. I do miss her." She said with her head down.
Sonny: "As do I." He responded.
Hazel: "We'll see her again. Maybe not today, but at some point in the future." She said in return.
Sonny and Elra: "Agreed."
The rain grew harder out of nowhere as they all sighed and kept walking.
Blade: "This is the tenth time it rained, where the hell even are we?" He sighed.
Zen: "We're in the rain fields, it's one of the close borders to the desert, some say the gods made it to refresh the men after they traveled the desert, that or it allowed men to fill buckets of water up for their journey through the desert." He said.
Sonny, Elra, and Hazel: "Woah cool!!!" They smiled to that.
Zen: "I know right? So all that complaining needs to end, otherwise we'll probably die regretting it." He looked at them with a more serious stare.
Sonny: "Eh, like a hot waterless beach is gonna stop me." He said with his head resting on his hands.
Zen: "Maybe not, but that pride definitely will." He said glaring at Sonny.
Sonny shrugged and kept walking, Elra and Hazel would be holding large cups and filling it with water.
Blade: "Uh where did you get those cups from?" He stared at them with a raised eyebrow.
Hazel and Elra: "Found em." They said.
Blade: "Uh huh?" He responded still confused.
The two ladies would nod as they collected a good amount of water and kept walking.
Meanwhile
Vero: "You said what?" He said as he glared at Ceno.
Ceno: "Oh you haven't heard yet huh? I thought you went to the meeting, I said they sent an Archangel after Sonny, he'll be dead within minutes if not seconds, so say goodbye to your revenge." He smiled largely.
Vero: "Damn it!" He slammed his fist on the desk.
Ceno: "Not to mention Cardinal is tracking him down at this very moment." He added to the conversation only ticking Vero off some more.
Vero: "Like I'm letting that happen." He'd get up and run out and dash away towards a portal back to the living world over the next for days.
