Chapter 22: Lonely Roads.

The wind would begin blow through the trees as it had reached the windiest part of the day adding coolness to the warmth of it. Sonny would just get up and stick the sheathed Demons Fate in his belt and continue off away from the rubble as he had a few flash backs of his house being a pile of rubble. “At least she's okay.” He would say quietly, he no longer had his cheerful tone as he was now back in reality.
While he was now walking he would look around himself, hearing nothing but the birds and other animals and he made a small sigh as his stomach would growl and he would stop and look for a lake.
Sonny looked across the water as his stomach growled louder, apparently fasting wasn't part of his training, though he now wishes it was, “Damn hunger. . .” He would mutter a bit annoyed as he'd run to a lake that was nearby and look around for fish and later that hour he'd be sitting in front of a fire cooking a large fish as he simply watched it before having a flash back of himself swinging a wooden katana back and forth and Mercury correcting on his sloppiness with it before making it back to reality with a small sigh before he'd take the fish off sensing it was done as he slowly ate it and then got back up and proceeded on his path seeing there was still daylight out, he would get up and put the fire out before continuing on his way.

Sonny walking and having no one to talk to began to think to himself, “How'd it come to this. . .” He'd think to himself, “I know he was famous but he really threw me into this world, I have so much potential and power yet here I am lost with nowhere to go.”
He would continue to think and walk on his way, and after awhile longer he was about to go into an inn but realized his ears, wings, and tail were visible and was about to turn around before a man there called out to him. “Hey you! You look like a traveler, come on, get yourself a drink.” The man shouted as Sonny would slowly look over expecting criticism, his mindset wasn't at it's fullest, “But, I'm a hybrid though?” He questioned as the guy threw his hand down as if shoving away whatever Sonny had said, “Ah whatever, we don't discriminate here, come on in!” The man smiled and Sonny would nod and go inside and be given more food as he ate himself full. “Thanks man.” Sonny would smile lightly, his head was still clouded, he wasn't sure where to go now, he wanted so hard to find Skyler, or even Elra, but he had no clue where to look or how far they were.

The Inn Keeper smiled with his hands on his hips, “So, what are ya paying with?” He smiled as Sonnys heart dropped as he wasn't expecting that, “Oh- uhhhh. . . .”
It would then show the boy sweeping the floors and cleaning the inn up as he was even wearing and apron.
The keeper with his hands on his hips still would smile, “Feel free to sleep here tonight as well for your hard work!!” He laughed as Sonny simply nodded, “Yeah. . . Thanks. . . .” He would sigh before cleaning everything else up and going to his room and falling on his back on the bed before instantly passing out from exhaustion, he gave cleaning up the Inn his everything.
The next day he would be leaving after being given a small thing of food and even a bit of gold for the journey as he continued off going through a path in the woods with a small sigh, it wasn't a sigh of ungratefulnes, it was a sigh of worry, a sigh of uncertainty.
