Elra, seven years of age would be sitting by a small gravestone, the grave of her mother, having never gotten to really known her all that well, "I wonder... what you were like still alive." Elra would say quietly as she looked down. Phoenix would walk over, her hair was orange and bright as it sat, long and beautiful, same would go for her eyes, "She's dead, give it up already, she can't even hear you." She would say in a bratty tone as she glared at Elra who annoyingly looked back, "Hey, show some respect." She'd say even more annoyed at her sisters arrogance as Phoenix rolled her eyes, "Oh yeah? Why should I? She isn't even my mom." To this Elra would grimace, "And who is? You always kick me for mourning my mom when you don't even know your own, so shut up!" Elra would snap, perhaps this was far for her to say but then again, she was being hated on for mourning her own, but now after such harshness, there would be a shadow over Phoenix's eyes outta rage, "What.. the hell did you just say to me?" She'd say raising her face showing the anger in her eyes as tears swelled up in them, but instead of stopping now, Elra decided to add salt to the wounds, "Hm.. You heard me! Go find your mom before spitting on me for mourning over min-" Slap! Phoenix had smacked her hand right across Elras face so hard it cut the skin and threw her to the ground with Phoenix standing over her as if she was about to stomp Elra into the ground, she'd simply glare, "You know nothing about me or my mom, you're not even my real sister, just some replacement of mine!!" She'd yell before running off to the house and in her room as tears fell from her face.
Glitch. . . the father of these two, sitting in his nice clothes, a fancy outfit with a fluffy collar and nice suit, almost as if he was a mafia boss, his eyes had a purple staticy look to them and his skin was greyish, whatever he truly was was currently unknown, but what he was doing was watching from his room window thinking of what to do with these two.
Phoenix now sitting on the bed tearing up to the point she was crying, "That stupid bitch... acts like she knows me when she knows nothing!!" At that moment she would have a quick flash back where she was clinging to Glitches sleeve with tears in her eyes, “Where's mom, I want her!!!” She'd cry out in despair, "She's gone Phoenix, she isn't coming and never will!!" He'd yell at her slapping her across the face, it appears that flash back wasn't the only time she begged for her mom making her life all the more tragic, Elra was harsh, but the past Phoenix lived didn't excuse her from her own harsh words. "I left her cause she'd only be a distraction and hold me back from my plans for myself and you, so give her up!"
Phoenix would jump back to the present breathing a bit heavy from the anxiety and panic as she'd try and calm down but to no avail, "I hate him... sniff" She'd start tearing up before she was called by Glitch, with this she went to his room, "Y..yeah dad?" She'd ask nervously.
Glitch would have his back to her as he faced the window, "Phoenix. . . you're a strong child, my first born, you have the spirit and power of a strong demon and I admire that, why I say that, and to get to the point of this small meeting, I shall be leaving to pursue a stronger life, to grow and finish my goals." Phoenix in shock of this glared, "What! You're gonna be leaving me and Elra!? You can't do that!" She'd protest loudly as Glitch kept his back to her, "Listen, I've decided that before I do, I'll make a deal with you two, if one manages to survive the other in power and life, you can come find me and I'll make you my disciple and champion." He would suggest as Phoenix who was very much understandably confused, simply asked, "How will you do that..?" Glitch would then simply turn his head to her, "By having you fight, one on the inside the other on the outside." He would smile, his smile was sadistic but charismatic, almost as if he could easily manipulate the masses.
Phoenix who was even more confused tilted her head, "Huh..?" Glitch would then grab her forehead transforming her into her soul as he teleported to Elra as he was quickly explaining what he said to Phoenix and place the soul on hers before as he looked down at her, “I've noticed your hatred towards each other, and therefore, I figured this would be perfect, meet me in the future when you've become one and the same.” He would smile before vanishing in static.
Elra confused as ever would cough up blood and question everything, "Wh- ugh!! Why!?" She'd scream in agonizing pain wrapping her arms around her stomach before collapsing on her side trying to keep conscious as tears flooded from her eyes and blood dripped from her lip as she bit it, she would go into the fetal position from the pain struggling to breathe as she dug her fingers in the ground before letting out a blood curdling scream and soon clawing at her face trying to gain full control and getting up as she started fighting for control. Phoenix fought for control but ultimately failed, Elra had a demon as well as Phoenix but this sick experiment Glitch has just now done cause Phoenix to merge with both demons becoming one making Elra have even more struggle.
Present day
Elra would be sitting there in front of Sonny, with a blank expression when she finished the story, "And well, that kinda explains where I'm at." She would say, most people would be crying as they repeated their life's trauma but Elra was so numbed down by the pain, it no longer caused her tears as she's relived the moment so many times in her head.
Skyler looked down with pity at Elra, "I'm so sorry, that must've been terrifying for you." She'd say, her voice filled with sadness but no tears were shed either, perhaps it was better that way as they took the story in a matured way.
Elra just shook her head as she looked to Skyler, "It's fine, I've.. gotten more control over her now." She would reassure. Though despite the two being calm about it, one particular person was not. "Where is he, I'm gonna kill him." He'd say with shade over his eyes. Skyler could sense a purple aura around him. Elra hearing this had her eyes widened, "What, Are you crazy!?! that's suicide!! There's no way you'd survive if you fought him!" She protested, he wasn't really serious was he?
Sonny shook his head, "Won't know till I try it." He really was serious. . .
Elra shook her head back but more aggressive, "You can't! I refuse to let you get killed over my problems, like.. You just met me!" She yelled, though she didn't know Sonny well enough to know he wasn't the type to let others walk over people. Though she also didn't want the boy to get hurt or even die due to problems that happened years ago.
Sonny glared at her as he grabbed Demons Fate, "I don't care, I want him dead anyway, I'll get stronger if I have to." He would say, he was clearly set on this goal now.
Elra said even more annoyed at this, "It's not that simple!"
Sonny softened his glare, "Well, we have time don't we? We can train till we're ready."
Elra looked down, he was right, they did have to train, "I mean I guess.." She would say calmly, she wasn't agreeing to the boy fighting her father but she can't seem to say no to him, he just wouldn't listen.
Sonny nodded as he stood up ready. "Okay then, let's train!"
Skyler looked at the boy softly, "Well, you can't just make up moves you need a trainer." She would say just as softly as her stare in which Sonny just smiled "I'll hone what I know, and maybe Elra and you can teach me some stuff."
Skyler shrugged, that wasn't a bad idea, "Alright, but don't expect too much."
