Chapter 56: A meeting in the Underworld.

It was very calm in the Underworld, people were still recovering at the destroyed city after Ceno walked through it, things seemed oddly peaceful though, too peaceful.

In the main city, in a large building there were several different people sitting around, Cardinal had his feet up on the table, Vero had a sword resting on his shoulder, a shadowy figure would be relaxing in another chair, and several other renowned bounty hunters were there.

A man wearing a large coat with two swords crossing on his back would walk in.

??: "Hello gentlemen, my name is Nevera. I am the high captain of the Templars in Heaven, I'm sure you've heard the news of Kar making his move."
They would all nod to the man. He was in a Knights like armor and had his face hidden.

Nevera: "He and Kadie have made deals with each other and are now working close. And we all know Kadie is one of the major threats to the entire Underworld after single handedly taking out the Southern Airies, he has no mercy and is ruthless to anyone he passes." He would say in a serious tone.

Jenra: "What about him though?" A bounty hunter would say.

Nevera: "If he manages to make a full alliance with Kar, then say goodbye to everything you own, they will take it all and destroy along with you." He would speak as he looked at Jenras eyes.

Vero: "So what do you want us to do about it?" He asked as he looked at Nevera.

Nevera: "Be on your watch and be prepared, I want all of you to train for this, we may need it very soon."

Cardinal: "Yeah yeah whatever. Enough of simple inconveniences, let's talk about real inconveniences. What about that Sonny brat that's growing in the ranks hmmm?" He said with his smile and to this everyone, except Nevera agreed.

Nevera: "Very well... I'm sure it's been well known by now that Sonny has been causing everyone trouble, and we did a background check and it's certain that he's the son of Mercury and Asha, and he did killed Glitch and injured Amare." He would sigh as he looked across the table.

Vero: "I thought Amare was dead?" Vero would question this now confused.

Nevera: "No, but he is in a coma. We managed to slowly heal him up some but whether he'll make it or not, we don't know."

Cardinal: "He sounds like quite the trouble maker hehehehe...." It was clear that Cardinal just wanted to fight him, perhaps he was trying to get the others here to realize that too. Though Nevera knew this.

Nevera: "Cardinal, you're only here because we know your power, but you're not a real bounty hunter, you're only not behind bars right now because you're in the Underworld already, almost like your safe spot." He glared at Cardinal through his mask.

Cardinal: "Awhh, so you want me to help you? Not enough people willing to follow your weak orders aye? I suppose I'll go through with it hehehehe. . ." He said in a mocking like voice.

Nevera sighed and looked down. "Unfortunately yes. And before you say anything, there will be payment if you manage this."

Cardinal: "Mkay, that's what I wanted to hear Hehe." He gave a smug smile.

Nevera: "It's also been noted that he's accompanied by Elra and now Zen. Not only that but he's managed to cause trouble in two kingdoms and directly attack the Templars and had one of their entire strongholds flattened!!!" He'd yell in anger causing some of the newer bounty hunters to jump.

Nevera: "And with Zen on their side things are bad, that man has full control over gravity and can melt a guy without even touching them! Not only that but Sonny also possesses Demons Fate, the sword that the notorious Mercury weilded!! This is a dangerous man, a very dangerous one, he has Wingling royalty and Ancient wolf blood in him meaning he's superior in those ways too!!"

Cardinal busted out laughing, "Seems like he's got y'all paranoid. He's got a little crew of strong chumps with him, what do you think you'll do now I wonder?" He would taunt them more.

Nevera: "I want you to keep your guard up, and if you see him, take him down, try and keep him alive." He would order out.

Cardinal: "I already planned to kill the bastard. So no promises." He gave a bigger smile.

Nevera: "If you kill him I swear to the gods there will be no payment!!" He shouted out.

Cardinal: "Won't matter, I'll still get his bounty on my name and that's all I'm good with Hah!"

Nevera: "Guh! Nonetheless. We've already alerted Heaven about him, they'll look into him and take him out when they can. Vero, you and the rest of the bounty hunters, make sure you can take him down if you see him. That is all."

Everyone except Cardinal would say yes sir before getting up and leaving.

Cardinal: "I already got my group back at home ready, So if I see that blue haired twerp, he's dead." He smiled sinisterly.

Nevera: "Get outta here R-. . ." Before he could finish the statement, there was a strong hand on his shoulder, the hand of Cardinal, “Might wanna watch your mouth there pretty boy.” He'd glare at Nevera as he walked out.

Nev would sigh in frustration and relief before also taking his leave.

Vero to himself: “So. That's who Sonny really is. . .  Good to know.”

Cardinal to himself: “Hehehe.... Just wait Sonny. I'll put your life on a string and play with it like a puppet....hehehehe....”
