Chapter 29: Cover blown! A showdown between Sonny and Vero.

Smoke would pass their legs as Sonny and Vero would be facing each other, Hazel would back up behind Sonny, people would be somewhat surrounding them, now curious on if there would be a fight.

Sonny: "What do you want?"

Vero: "To claim your bounty of a hundred three million soul coins."

Sonny: "A hundred three million!?"

Hazel: "What'd you do?!"

Vero: "You've killed Glitch, Amare and Velocity, all people with bounties in the millions for their numerous crimes, and you're bounty isn't very high compared to some others."

Sonny: "It's not even the highest??"

Vero: "Not even close."

Sonny: "Well... What do you want anyway?"

Vero: "Your head, now if you make this easy I'll give a merciful death."

Sonny: "Fat chance Smokey."

Vero: "I tried to be nice." He'd say as he rushed in passing by Sonny as he waved his hand over his mouth pushing a bunch of smoke in his lungs as Sonny would start coughing.

Sonny: "Ha... cough you missed... cough cough"

Vero: "Did I though?"

Sonny: "...yeah... But I didn't."

Vero: "Hm?" He looked at his stomach seeing large slash marks.

Vero: "Ugh!" He'd cut his own arm as a large bone formed out of the cut as he pulled it out, healing it, and now holding a large bone sword.

Sonny: "Woah! Cough that was... Cough cool!"

Vero: "Glad you think that."

Sonny would pull out Demons Fate and rush in about to cut him as Vero would easily block it and send a kick to his stomach throwing him back as Sonny would cough a bit of blood and smoke.

Vero: "Alright, I've had my fu-" before he finished Sonny would rush in while spinning around at the speed of light covering Vero in small cuts before stopping and doing a side kick to his back causing him to fly into a building, with this, the crowd watching would panic and run off to alert some guards.

Vero: "Alright.. Now I'm pissed." He'd get up out of the rubble and walk forward slowly.

Sonny: "That all you got?"

Vero: "Far from it." He'd close his hand as the smoke in Sonnys lungs turned to blood filling his lungs completely resulting in him hacking large amounts of blood while gripping his neck, trying to breathe but to no avail.

Vero: "Everyone who's underestimated me or my ability has fallen the same fate."

Hazel: "Sonny!!" She'd run up to him.

Sonny: "G.....get.... back......" He'd say as blood poured out of his mouth and nose. Hazel would now back up far from them.

A man in a white Kimono with red cherry blossoms on it would be standing there leaning against a wall with one hand resting on his katana handle, his short dark red hair blowing around from the breeze with his calm dark purple eyes watching as he was next to Hazel who didn't notice him.

Vero would walk up to Sonny about to finish him off as Sonnys eyes were now solid white, and soon purple aura started forming around him.

Vero: "Hm..?"

The aura would begin growing bigger as there was a large amount of pressure in the air before the color in his eyes turned into a glowing purple, as cracks formed on the sides of his face behind his eyes, his wolf tail would turn long and bony, his wings became bigger and more decayed as they stretched out of the back of his kimono, his claws growing larger as black bone like armor formed on his hands in a way that looked like skin tight, knight like gauntlets that went up his arms, all made of black bone.

On his forehead in front of his ears two large demonic like black deer antlers formed, and soon fragments of a black skull formed over his face as he would make a loud roar with his tail swinging back and forth, blood pouring from his mouth as he made an even louder roar before stabbed his hand into his chest and lungs ripping them open letting the blood pour out before instantly regenerating and soon looking at Vero who stood strong despite the power of the shockwave that came from Sonny, now a bit shocked at this.

Sonny would dash forward causing a shockwave strong enough to flatten several buildings as he would slash at Vero with Demons Fate only to have Vero continuously blocking each strike with his sword as he started making blood bullets hit Sonny before causing a whip of blood to wrap around him and harden into pure condensed bone.

Vero: "You're a feisty one, now I can see how Glitch and the others fell to you, you have not just any demon, but a Shini Krios."

Hazels eyes would widen: "A Shini...?"

Vero: "It's the top ranked demon in the Underworld, I can tell it worked hard to gain this rank."

Sonny with a demonic voice: "Oh stop acting so smart Smokey bear, I'm glad you figured it out though, however I was put on his soul from his father."

Vero: "Makes sense, there's no way he could manage to beat a Shini."

??: "Precisely, anyway, let's finish this." Sonny would destroy the bone with ease before dashing forward and grabbing Veros face and tossing him far away before dashing forward but stopping mid dash as Demons Fate was glowing.

??: "Ugh! Hey! Stop this!"

Demon: "Hey! stop this Senaru, stop this!" He would force Sonny back into his body as his normal form would appear again.

Sonny: "The hell happened..." He would look to see Vero but the man was gone.

Hazel: "We'll talk later, but right now we need to go." She'd say as dozens of guards would run over.

Guard #1: "Hey! Get them!"

Sonny: "Yep." He'd grab Hazel and flash stepped out of the kingdom, the man with the katana would follow behind them and remain unnoticed by Sonny and Hazel or the guards.
