Chapter 65: Disaster Strikes.

The area the group was in looked like a war zone as there were craters and cracks all around the land, smoke was coming from the ground and the village now mostly in ruins as villagers watched the fight from a distance now terrified, most of them evacuated.

Sonny would be holding his arm tightly to try and stop the bleeding, breathing deeply and heavily as Cardinal stood over him from a distance holding Demons Fate.

Elra would be healing Blade and Hazel, and Zen would be slowly healing as he started running back, clenching his fists.

Sonny: "You bastard...." He'd be breathing more heavily squeezing his arm tighter, his knuckles turning white even.

Cardinal: "Oh please, if you focus, your arm will regenerate, it's not permanent y'know." He said as he chuckled in a low voice.

Sonny: "Oh.. Well... Okay then..." He'd tried focusing but the second he did Cardinal would slash across his chest, “Didn't actually think I was gonna just stand there and let you heal did you?” He would say before sending a kick into Sonnys chest hard enough to throw him through another tree as Cardinal dashed forward and thrust Demons Fate at Sonny only for the boy to dodge and kick him in the stomach throwing him back as the man coughed.

Cardinal: "Awh look, he actually tried to resist." He'd mock as he wiped some blood off his lower lip.

Zen: "Cardinal, you bastard!!" He yelled as he would dash in only for Cardinal to turn around to face him just as he heard the words "Solar Implosion!!!" yelled by Zen as he sent a punch mixed with anti gravity and full gravity into his stomach causing it to rupture as Cardinal vomited blood and flew far back and was now crouched on the ground holding his now crushed stomach but before he could react Zen was behind him as he kicked Cardinal into another tree and kept going before the bird of prey yelled out and sent a tornado of Hell Threads around himself right when Zen dashed in now shredding his chest and face, Cardinal would dash in kneeing his stomach and sending long solid but thin Hell threads through all his main joints causing him to go ragdolled but before the space god could fall to the ground, Cardinal would dash in and grab his face and raise his arm and slam it into the ground and full force causing the area to shake.

Cardinal: "You did better that time...." He'd chuckle as he slowly healed his stomach before standing back up and then began stomping Zens head into the ground for the extra torment, Elra would run in but Cardinal would slash across her body and do a spinning back kick to her stomach throwing her into Blade causing them both to crash into the ground.
He'd dash in and send a dozen punches into both of them before jumping in the air spinning mid air and throwing Demons Fate into Sonnys shoulder and retracting it by using the threads wrapped around the handle and flash stepping behind Sonny and roundhouse kicking him in the back throwing him across the field and dash in about stomp his head in but being stopped as his foot was on Sonnys only arm which was used to block it.

Cardinal: "Still able to fight huh? Good, I was starting to get bored, didn't want my prey to die so soon." He'd smile menacingly as he put more force in his leg causing Sonnys arm bone to start cracking as he groaned from the pain, his missing arm was slowly starting to heal but very slow due to his lack of true focus.

Cardinal: "Which will break first, your will, or your arm hm? The suspension is killing me hehehehe...." He laughed, putting his hands in his pockets just to mock him even more.

Sonny: "You.... Bastard...." He groaned out.

Hazel would run in and bite Cardinal on the neck throwing him to the ground and tossing him away, it helped that he had his hands in his pockets allowing for less defense on his end. "Sonny are you okay!?" She cried out as she ran to him.

Sonny: "I am now.... Thanks.... This guys tougher than every other fight I've done... He's just playing with us... not even trying to kill us right away!!!" He said as he tried focusing on his arm more.

Cardinal: "Damn straight I am." He'd rub his neck healing it before he stood up, “As I see it, you're all nothing but mere worthless play things, and anything I find worthless, I remove from this wretched world.... I've just been being entertained but once that's done with, I'll kill you on the spot....” He said standing tall above them.

Sonny: "Just try it jackas-!!" Before he could finish Cardinal dashed at a speed untraceable by the eyes into Sonny with both feet now stomping and pinning him onto the ground while thrusting Demons Fate straight through his chest and into his heart and soul pinning and stabbing him in the ground.

Hazel: "Sonny!!!" She cried out while those still conscious in the group had their eyes wide open from the shock of this.
