Chapter 25: Enter into the Underworld.

Once they walked through the portal, the air seemed to turn extremely thick but still breathable and they were now walking on thicker sand which made a crunch with each step, and the temperature now seemed extremely hot yet cold in the air.
Hazel now nervous realizing she may have made a mistake blindly following the blue haired boy into the portal looked to Sonny annoyed, “Sonny, why the hell would you enter this place, we know nothing about the Underworld!!!” She scolded as Sonny looked over to her now realizing that was true before speaking up “Well now we know the Afterlives exist.” He would say as Hazel's jaw dropped a bit before nodded, “I mean that's true actually. . . But hey!!” Her agreement ended quickly as she realized that was off topic but Sonny being the optimistic one just kept walking before speaking, “It'll be fine, plus I can catch Amares scent.” And to this Hazel looked at him confused, “What? How can you do that?” She questioned and Sonny would keep walking, “Well, being part wolf can do wonders, also cause I caught those two ladies scents and can still smell them here, so it must be this way. Plus the giant city over there gives it away.” The boy explained and Hazel would look forward to see what looked to be a large city in the distance that they were walking towards, seeing this Hazel simply nodded before just sighing and continuing to follow, “. . .Fine, if you say so.” She said.

After a little bit longer the winds would begin blow a bit harder before Sonny would look around and stop realizing there was a large near seven foot demon in front of him with a large pitch black body, and two glowing bright red eyes, and grey bone like armor as it towered over him. “.sah eno siht luos gnorts A” The creature spoke in a distorted voice, clearly scanning Sonnys soul and strength as the boy just looked up, “Eh wut?” He questioned while scratching his head. Hazel being educated in this stuff looked over to Sonny, “Uh Sonny, that's a pure blooded demon, and I think it senses your soul and wants it. . .”
Sonny hearing this looked back at the creature with a bit of amazement, “A demon? Woah. . .” He sounded clearly excited to see it, Hazel would follow up as she looked at it, “A consumer type too.” Sonny now confused what she meant looked down to her, “A consumer demon?” He questioned and to his answer Hazel would quickly explain, “They only live to eat and grow, I'll explain it later, we have to deal with this thing.”
Sonny nodded and smiled, “This'll be no problem.” He pulled out Demons Fate as it grew a purple glowing aura around the blade.
Now feeling challenged the demon would roar loudly with a high pitched echoing scream and would slash at him only to smack the blade much to it's failure of doing anything and Sonny now clearly challenged would smirk, “Dumb move, ugly. Now my turn, Soul Blade!!” He would slash the blade causing a large crescent blade of energy to cut the demon in half turning it to dust much to the amazement of Hazel who just had her eyes widened and Sonny rested the blade on his shoulder now his confidence and ego boosted, “Pfft, easy.” As soon as he had said that a dozen more, different looking demons would now be around as that confidence dropped as his smirked lowered much into a frown.
Hazel sighed as she looked to him, “Way to jinx it. . .” She said as Sonny looked around and readied his blade, “I got this. . .” He would inhale and exhale before dashing forward and slash dozens of the demons, killing them but more would appear before they all just stopped and looked away.
Sonny now confused stood there too looking around, “Hm. . .”

All the demons in one spot would split into two large groups as they would make a path revealing a shadowy like demon with torn robes and threads hanging off them and a pitch black coloring to them while wearing a what looked to be black skull mask that was fused to it's face but had a demonic texture and look to it as it also had glowing red eyes. It would be floating a bit above the ground before setting it's feet there and slowly walked forward towards Sonny who was now a bit confused and even felt a sting of fear go down his back.
