Chapter 62: Tired Steps.

After a long while of walking through the stormy weather and wetlands the group would eventually made it to a large village which they saw an opportunity to refresh and rest up a bit before continuing on. Sonny and Elra hid their wings and Sonny also hid his ears under a hat and his tail under his Gi top animal before entering in the village and going to a small bar stand.

Sonny drinking a cup a juice, "Gods I missed this..." He sighed in relief as he set his cup down with a smile.

Elra: "Me too." She smiled to Sonny.

Hazel: "Me three.."

". . ." There would be a pause as Elra and Hazel looked at the others.

Zen and Blade: "We aren't answering next."

Elra: "Well you guys suck." She said with an annoyed expression.

The two looked at each other and let out a small laugh, "Nah, that's gay."

Elra: "Not what I meant you perverts!"

Sonny: "You three shut up and rest up, we got a long journey ahead of us." He smiled as he sipped his drink.

The three would nod and start drinking, eating, and re energizing. Elra out of some boredom would lightly kick Blade in the leg enough times to tick him off.

Blade: “If you don't stop at this very moment I'm gonna rip your foot of and shove it so far up your ass that Phoenix will feel it kick her in the ass.”

Elra: "I'd like to see you try." She challenged with bored eyes.

Blade: "Gods your annoying." He mumbled.

Elra: "Uh, no."

Blade: "Yes."

Elra: "Nuh uh."

Blade: "Uh huh."

Elra: "N-!"

Zen: "Both of you shut the hell up, you two are like siblings." He said with a serious and annoyed look in his eyes.

Elra and Blade: "Shut u-" Zen would slam their heads together again.

Sonny: "Hey, I'm going to the market to get some extra food for the trip, anyone wanna join?" He asked as he was getting up from his seat.

Hazel: "I'll join."

Sonny: "Okay then." They walked out and went to the market gathering some food, hearing rumors, and just enjoying their day a bit before the big journey.

Blade would go to a sword shop and look at the different swords and examined them.

Elra would go to a potions and medicine shop.

Zen would go to an Astrology building as he looked through books on space and even saw a book that read about the true god of space, Zonar. “Wonder who this is. . .”  He would think to himself.

After a few hours of shopping around the village the group would meet back up at then exiting gate and walk out of the village and prepare for a new adventure when they suddenly heard a loud crash and loud laughter behind them as they stopped dead in their tracks from shock and for Elra it would be from the fear that she felt from the sadistic tone of the laughter and Sonny who turned his head to look over at the village only to see a large figure crouched down as they slowly stood up fully, only the shadowed and slightly blurred image of a man was showing in the dust and early morning shine as dozens of red feathers blew out from the dust that covered the mans textures.

??: “There you are, I was starting to doubt if you even existed Sonny boy, hehehehehe....” The figure would say in a deeper but snobby like voice as his lenses reflected and shined bright red through the smoke as if it was a demon behind the wall of dust.
