Chapter 7: A New Friend

Skyler stared at Sonny a bit blankly trying to make heads or tails of the entire story Sonny tried to explain in full detail, "So you're telling me that swords going to guide you?" Sonny just smiled largely, "That's correct!" Skyler blinked again, "And for Jupiter, if he has his own sword why doesn't he just go use that, even if it hasn't appeared yet he can still wait, right?" She asked as Sonny smiled, "Well, he thinks it only makes him immortal and immune to demonic powers, when in reality that's only some of it's potential."

Skyler would think for a moment before looking at Sonny, "Why not explain that to him then." Sonny thought for a second before nodding in agreement, "I could huh. . ." Suddenly demon called out in the boys mind, “No! You must not say a word of it to him for he must figure it out on his own.” It was strict but true, Sonny would nod, "But.. perhaps Jupiter should figure it out on his own, for I think that would be best for him to do." He would say as Skyler nodded and smiles thinking he was growing more wise, "Hm, alright, and that was pretty wise of you, I didn't think you could think of something that w- Demon told you that didn't he." She found out, she knew how these swords worked, once one gains possession of one, the spirit of the weapon or artifact can communicate with the holder, "Yeah he did." Sonny looked down disappointed now, Skyler sighed and shook her head softly, “Well, either way, we can try and get some rest in the meantime, alright." Sonny nodded, "Okay." They would then proceed to lay down as Sonny would cuddle up next to Skyler soon falling asleep as she would do the same.

                         The next day

Skyler would set food down in front of Sonny and wake him up then proceed to eat her own food, he would then do the same and after this he would get up equipping Demons Fate to his waist and head out to the Den entrance.
Skyler just blinked at this new action that Sonny has taken on, "And where are you going?" She'd asked, curious on the answer he might bring out, as Sonny just smiled, "To the village for a stroll, I wanna see how it's doing after what happened with Jupiter." Skyler just looked at Sonny with a raised eyebrow, "Rightttt, and you think they'll just let a blue haired wolf boy walk right on in?" She'd question as the boy froze and looked down, "Oh right.." Skyler sighed and would just toss him a musketeer hat with a large white feather attached, she also threw him a long shoulder cloak, "Here, use that to cover the ears and hide your tail and katana in the cloak." Sonny would put them on then, "Thanks Sky." He'd say with a smile.
Skyler would smile back, "Be back home before nightfall." She'd say as Sonny would nod at her then he would exit out and eventually after a somewhat slow stroll he'd enter the village of Brooketown, seeing most of the damage caused by Jupiter having been fixed but still had barricades and workers helping to fix it up, he began walking around the streets seeing several rows of tents with people selling a large assortment of things such as food, clothes, even weapons and armor, as he walked by he would look at these tents window shopping as he did, he would then smile and look up at the sky a bit seeing as it was a bright blue, but still had slot of clouds here and there, with birds singing and flying around, the temperature was a comfortable warm and the day seemed perfect for a stroll. He would then walk by a couple entertainers, some singing shanties made by the workers at sea, some doing neat tricks and others using real magic in fancy ways.
He would stand there and watch a bit before continuing to walk by a weapons smith who noticed him, “That's quite a nice blade you got there, how much you willing to take for it?” Sonny a bit startled at the interaction just calmly answered with, "Oh, it's not for sale, sorry."
The smith would smile and reply, “That's a real shame, a blade like that must be wonders to use.”
Sonny answering back with a smile, "It is." He would then proceed off continuing through the village before hearing a bunch of screaming a long distance away, he looked around to find the area of the screams but only noticed that no one seemed to care, he then remembered he had much better hearing and started listening again before hearing a lot of screaming in one area, with this he ran towards the direction of it, going to the far end of the village, once he did he noticed there was a lot of smoke and destruction as well as bodies covered in blood everywhere. “This village must be huge if the other area didn't notice this...” He thought to himself.
He looked around through the smoke before looking at a person taller than him with large wings.
He'd go through to smoke to see them better in detail, he noticed they were a tall female with fiery orange hair, wings and eyes, they were wearing a purple open coat, with a cyan shirt and dark blue pants also covered in blood.
When Sonny went over to see her, she would shoot a predator like glare at him and in a demonic like voice she spike "Get outta here before you join the rest of these mortals." She'd growl as the wings spread out and flames would come from the wings but those flames would quickly dissipate.
