Chapter 64: Damaged Hope.

The breeze would be calm as the smoke would soon settle, the village was now mostly in ruins as people were panicking and evacuating. Cardinal would stand over the group as Zen would slowly stand up in front of Sonny who was still on the ground beaten and bloody.

Cardinal: "You wanna go now boy? hehehe...." He'd smile, clearly not intimidated by the space god.

Zen: "I've heard of you, your that brat who's in love with birds huh?" He'd say as he'd try to pinpoint exactly who Cardinal was.

Cardinal: "I suppose that's true, hehehe... But nonetheless, this brat is a bird of prey." He'd say with a bigger smile, his fingers twitching some as they stretched out, they were long and bony fingers, giving better control over his power.

Zen: "We'll see! Galactic Smash!!" He'd dash forward with a gravity field around his fist as he flash stepped in front of Ren at the speed of stars and punched him in the gut causing the villain to cough out blood and fly into a tree before landing crouched down with blood and saliva dripping out his mouth as he simply wiped it off.

Cardinal: "Good hit....but not good enough!" he'd kick low off the tree dashing forward and jumpinf high in the air as his red feather coat flowed in the wing as he crashed down in front of Zen and waved his hands down tangling him in his threads and throwing him through trees and back into the ground before jumping high up and dropping down, stomping him deeper into it causing a large crator.

Zen would struggle to breathe as he coughed out blood before grabbing Rens leg and smashing the bone in it using his anti gravity as he would struggle to sit up.

Cardinal: "Ugh!! Dumb brat." His leg would instantly regenerate as he stomped Zen back down but harder and then stomp Zens face in soon knocking him out about to execute him with the threads before Blade flash stepped in and slash Cardinal across the chest and kick him off Zen as Cardinal would fly back doing a back flip before dashing off the air back at Blade using his threads to wrap around the swordsmans leg and pull him into a strong punch in the face breaking his nose then flinging him into Elra who was running after them causing them both to fly back into a large crash.

Sonny would slowly get up and cough out more blood, "Leave them alone!!" He'd grab Demons Fate and dash at Cardinal about to slash at him but he would simply dash backwards and close his hand as threads wrapped around Sonnys arm and then the handle of Demons Fate covering it in the hellish strings as it flew into Cardinals hand all within a few seconds. “Quite the blade you wield.” He said with a smile as he examined the blade.

Sonny: "Wh.... How are you holding i-!!" Cardinal would pull his unarmed hand close as Sonnys arm was severed clean off causing him to scream in hellish pain on the ground.

Cardinal: "How I can hold your cursed sword you ask? Well let me explain, I covered the handle in dozens and dozens of my Hell Threads allowing me to comfortably hold it hehehehe..." He explained all while Sonny screamed.

Sonny: "AHHH!!!" He screamed in pain as he held his now half arm, the pain seemed to be worse than before, maybe it was an effect of the threads or maybe Sonny was just worn out from earlier.

Cardinal would burst out laughing as he watched Sonny struggle in pain, all while twirling Demons Fate. “You truly never stood a chance against me or this world, Hybrid, say goodbye now you brat, you were never meant to go far in this lifetime heheheheAHAHAHAA!!!!”
