The duo barely talked anymore. The Gang distinctively remembered what happened the second Ragnar left the dock. 

Hiccup immediately brought up a new battle tactic he wanted to try with the Gang and Astrid certainly did not take it well. 

"Gods, Hiccup. First you kick out such a nice guy for doing nothing. Second, you get jealous over the littlest of things and now you just completely forget about what you did and bring up battle tactics?!" Astrid asked, flabbergasted.

"Stop acting that that, Astrid. We shouldn't have let him in the first place," Hiccup replied nonchalantly, not really caring. 

Astrid scoffed in disbelief and stormed away from the dock back to her hut. 

That night for dinner she never showed up. Same with the night after, and again, and again, and it went on for about 2 weeks now. 

He just wanted to tell Astrid how he felt about her. How much he liked her and where he wanted them to go from their friendship.

But at the looks of the current situation, just saying 'hi' to her was thrown out the window.

Astrid never went on training sessions anymore. Well, she did only if Hiccup wasn't there. He would watch Astrid happily training from his vantage point at his hut.

"Oh Toothless, I messed up real bad, didn't I?" He said, burying his head into his hands.

Toothless only gurgled in response. It's his way of saying, "Well that's your problem then,"

"Wow, thanks a lot, Bud," he said with sarcasm as his dragon walked away.

Hiccup was determined to make up for this. No matter what he can't continue life like this.

The next day was just like any other day at the Edge. Except for Hiccup and Astrid who still weren't talking to each other.

Now even the Gang got worried about them. If they don't cooperate and work together, the whole team of Dragon Riders are practically done.

And of course the Twins were the ones that decided to step in and help

"Hiccup, you have to talk to her," Tuffnut said as he followed a pacing Hiccup around the room.

"How?! She probably doesn't want to talk to me either," Hiccup said, defeated.

"Astrid, you need to talk to him. He made a huge mistake. One that you'll have to forgive him for," Ruffnut said very cautiously in order not to awaken the very dangerous side of Astrid.

"Absolutely not, Ruff. He made a mistake and it will stay that way. I'm never going to talk to that man ever again!" Astrid said as she stormed out of her hut.

"Just go up to her, and say something like 'Hey Astrid, I'm really sorry about what happened earlier this week. Maybe we could start over?' Something like that!" Tuffnut shouted.

"Gods, Tuffnut! Do you not get it?! Astrid will never ever talk to me ever again! No matter what I do!" He shouted and left his hut.

Yet again, the Twins were unsuccessful.
