novembermelancholy

24 8 15

from freezer burn in february to quicksand in july, too fast forward,
that by september I had sunburn -
the bittersweet remains of the months I spent in the south of my life.

blurry circumstances,
it seems not so much better than last year this time around:
I find myself in the middle of the same old fragments
and everything looks just like yesterday
but I've changed -

between rain and teargas,
I wear rose-tinted sunglasses
and I can still see
through all of this novembermelancholy.
