with the cold fingers of her hand in mine
I find myself in a forest
where she leads me, quickly, right through the trees
as they pass me by in no time.
so dizzy now my feet don't touch the ground -
slowly, slowly I lose each and every grip on what they call "gravity"
and with a wink she welcomes me to wonderland.

in the pitch black dark fireflies follow her around all night,
she's for sure a fairy,
she only keeps her wings hidden in her spine -
and her skin it peels in petals,
but she's got an ace up her sleeve:
another ten hearts as we're playing cards, like she never runs out of them,
but only leaves a trace of silver scales in the water
as she swims to me.

something different today ;)
(this artwork is so random, don't ask me, I don't even know either...) but as for the text I'm just absolutely in love with "wonderland"- themes, as I'd call it, so I hope you enjoyed this piece and thanks so much for reading!
