Chapter 19

Fred's POV

I can't stop thinking about how much Eliott was panicking, when Carter told me that he was scared of the hospitals, I thought that he was just scared, but now I know that he's terrified of them.

The Doctor gave him an injection, and he had fallen asleep, so at least he isn't panicking anymore.

It turned out that Eliott isn't pregnant, and he never will be, because his womb is too damaged to carry a child, it also got infected, and that's why he was feeling sick.

The Doctor is preparing the operations room for Eliott, and he will have to remove the womb, so Carter went out of the pack hospital to tell Timmy about it.

Both of them come here a few minutes late and Mason follows right behind them.

We sit for while, and then the doctor comes to take Eliott, so we go to sit on the chairs that are in the corridor.

It takes about an hour, but finally Doctor Chris brings Eliott back to the room that he was in previously.

He tells us that Eliott is alright, but he doesn't let us enter the room.

So, we stay in the corridor, and we wait for a few more hours, until we hear that Eliot is crying.

I quickly open the door, despite the fact that I shouldn't be here.

Eliott looks at me with teary eyes, I smile at him sadly, and I go to sit next to him on the bed.

"How are you feeling?" I ask him.

"Tired." He says, and I can see that he is telling the truth, since he's fighting to stay awake.

"Go back to sleep." I tell him, but he shakes his head.

"Can I go back to the house?" He asks me.

"No, you will have to heal first." I tell him, before I lean in to kiss his forehead.

"Why?" He asks, and I realise that he doesn't know that he had a surgery.

"Because you have a surgery, but don't worry about it for now, you should rest for a bit." I tell him.

"I won't heal while I'm asleep, and I want to heal as quickly as I can, so I can get out of here." He tells me.

I reach my hand to his head, so I can play with his hair, and not long later, he falls asleep.

I stay for a while longer, but the Doctor kicks me out of the room after a while.

So, I go back to where Carter, Timmy and Mason are waiting, and I sit beside Carter.

"Don't you have to take care of the rest of the kids?" I ask him.

"No, half of them is at Denver's and the other half at Tyler's." He tells me, so I nod in acknowledgement.

After a few hours, Eliott wakes up again, and it's already morning, so he had slept the whole night.

This time the Doctor allows up to go inside, so we go there right away.
