Meech's POV
I sat across from my dad as he talked to me. "This yo last year in highschool son.... How you feeling?" I smiled. "It's good, you remember my Shawty Summer I told u about?!" He nodded, "we thinking about moving in together once we graduate highschool" he sigh. "Mhm... if dat's wat u want!" I scoffed, "wym?!" He shrugged. "Ion know, I just thought you & Nikeyma would have been perfect together" my mom walked up to us, "I said da same thing Demetrius but Meech said that it would be awkward if they date since they have been friends for so long".

My dad shook his head, "what, u feel like y'all relationship would be fucked uh if y'all ever broke uh or sum shit?!" I nodded. "Yea, plus I never saw her in dat way" my dad laughed, "you will eventually, just ain't had nun to show u yet... she got a bf?" I shook my head. "Nawl, niggas don't really see her since u know she a lil on the plus size" my mama & dad looked. "So" they said at the same time, "nun wrong wit some meat on your bones.. son she smart, talented, funny, can cook, have goals and so much more... betta hope on dat" I shook my head, "Nawl I love her as my friend dat's all".

My dad shrugged, "don't wait til it's too late, u can't wait too long foe some one like ha" he said dapping me up, "I love y'all" he said getting up and following da police officer. "Come on baby" I nodded and got up leaving.

As I drove down the road I got a text. I had dropped my mom off early & decided to ride out & get something to eat. I was kinda fucked uh since I ain't hear from Nikeyma all day, it hurt me a lil but it was only 12 pm it wasn't even 1 in da afternoon maybe she sleep of sum shit. I brushed it off Cuh she my friend nun more nun less, I shook my head and looked down at the message that popped up.

Keyma🖤🖖🏽: Meech can you come get me?! I want something to eat, my car acting stupid.
I looked at the text & laugh, key & dat damn car always goin thru some shit.
Me: yea pumpkin I gotcha
She looked at the text & hearted it, I chuckled and put my phone in da arm rest driving towards her house. Key was my dawg, I never saw her in any way more than dat, yea she was beautiful as hell but she just wasn't my type.

At least dat wat I thought.... As I drove up in her yard I watch Key come from sitting on da step walking to da car. "Hey meech" she said getting in hugging on my neck, "Wassuh pumpkin" she sucked her teeth.. "why dat name?" I shrugged & laughed, "just joking" she giggled and put her seat belt on looking out the window.

"This ain't just regular highschool work" Vinchi said looking down at the worksheet we got from out English IV teacher. "Damn skippy" Eric said holding up the paper eyeing it down, "y'all tripping, this shit too easy!" I said writing my name & getting started on my work. "Since when u been so happy about doing work?!" I chuckled, "since Nikeyma helped me" Vinchi smirked. "Talm bout thick fine ass Nikeyma" he said smirking.

No cap I would be lyin if I said dat it didn't piss me off. But I wasn't goin to let him know dat, "if u say so" he sucked his teeth, "man you know Nikeyma bad asl ion even know why u doing allat" he said starting on his work. I just shook my head, as I was finishing my paper, I seen my girl Summer walk up to me.

"Hey baby" she said kissing me on da lips, "Wassuh baby... u look good asf" she smiled and & did a whole 360 making me smile. "Damn u look good asf" she giggled, "I know, hey Vinchi Hey Eric" she said giving Vinchi a smirk. I knew Summer wasn't just foe me & me only, I knew other niggas caught her attention & no cap dat type of shit didn't matter to me, she mines not anyone else's.

She sat down In my lap staring Vinchi down. "So what u goin to school for?!" He cleared his throat leaning back some. "Um I want to be an Actor" she lean forward a lil, "mhmm" I got up. "Ms. Tangey?" She looked at me, "can I use the bathroom?" She nodded her head. I sighed and shook my head walking out the bathroom, I checked my messages to see if Nikeyma text me & she didn't. "Damn is she not coming to school?" I said doing a lil chuckle.

As I was going to da bathroom, I heard talking. I looked back & saw Nikeyma & some dude talking. "Meek, we can't let nobody know we talk" he groan and grabbed her waist. "Why? U know I love u.. why can't I let everyone know u mines?!" She sighed. "Just not ready for all the attention right now okay baby" he sighed. "Okay baby, I love u" she smiled, "I love u too" they said before kissing each other.

My heart dropped to the bottom of my feet, they soon walked away from each other. I snuck off in da bathroom & pretending to come out just in time as Nikeyma walked pass. "Hey" she jumped & looked at me laughing, "Meech, u scared me" I chuckled. "Who was dat nigga you was talkin to?!" She did a lil nervous smile. "Meek... we good friends" I shook my head, "Nawl yall more den dat" she sighed. "Okay so me & meek go together.. I'm sorry I didn't let u know" I chuckled.

"So u won't gone tell me?!" She shook her head, "no I was going to tell u trust me u was gone be the first to know I just wanted some time." I shook my head, "Ight, so when did dat lil relationship happen?!" She started smiling making me roll my eyes. "3 months ago" my heart felt like it kept on breaking & breaking.

"You love him?!" She smiled hard, harder than I have seen her smile in a very long time. "Yes, he makes me happy" she said blushing, "mhm well I'm happy for u" I said walking off. I walked back to class sitting down, Summer walked over trying to sit on my lap. "Nawl I'm not in da mood right now just sit in dat chair" I said sliding down a seat & putting my head down on my desk, shit just blew me yo.

I sat down laughing & talkin wit my mama & dad at the jail. "So how school going?" I nodded, "shit, it's Ight" he nodded, "tell my baby her dad said Wassuh" I shook my head, "I can't" he looked at me. "Why?!" My nose flared up, "man pops, she go & have da audacity to get her a nigga & not tell me for 3 months" my mama shrugged. "So, I understand Cuh y'all suppose to tell each other everything but I mean wat else u expect?!" I looked at her & my pops. "She wasn't supposed to be wit nobody"

My pops looked at me, "but u right?!!" I looked at him. "U in love wit her ain't u?!" I looked at my mama & back at him, "yes sir" he chuckled. "I told u, something had to happen foe u to see God put her in yo life for a reason... yo ass don't listen" I nodded my head, "I know now".
