She kept staring at the ring in her finger. A sigh of defeat was enough to tell how helpless she was feeling at that particular moment.
She again tried to remove it from her finger but still in vain.
It didn't worked.
The ring got stuck to her finger and is not coming out. She tried everything. Applied some soap, honey, shampoo etc. But nothing worked.
She remembered his words.
"Just like this you're going to be stuck with me".
She clutched her eyes shut in disgust.
No way she's gonna be with him. She looked at her finger again.
Ruposh should be the one to put a ring on my finger.
She just can't understand what fate has God decided for her. she prays to him everyday, every hour, every minute and every second she thinks about him but why is he doing this with her.
"Zoya?". Humna whispered.
She looked at her.
"Now what? He's gonna have what he wants".
She shook her head while wiping her tears.
"No. Not again, this time I will have what I want".
She hated.
She hated him even more.
"You can't, didn't you see? How he came and---". She interrupted her.
"And asked for my hand."
"He didn't asked zoya, he came to inform you".
A painting naina came inside the room and looked at them and came forward and sat with them.
"Naina drink water". Humna said handing her the glass of water.
She took and drank it in one go.
"I got humna's call and she told what happened and I came running here. Zoya dont you think it's going really far?".
"We should stop". She said once humna went outside.
She shook head.
"No, he will get the taste of his own medicine".
"He came two days ago right?".
She nodded.
"Then zoya just take off this ring".
"Do you think if I was able to take it off then why would I have this thing on my finger". She said showing her hands.
"Ohhh it's not coming off?".
"No".
"Then what do you want me to do?".
"Just find out about humza."
"What?".
"Hmm".
"Why?".
"He told humna to get back with him, I just want to make sure that he stays away from her."
"Zoya try to understand Asim has his eyes on everyone related to you. I'm sure he won't let you go this time".
"If he thinks that its gonna work then in sorry Mr., this won't".
"He will get the taste of his own medicine". Zoya whispered.
