Dahyun's POV
"Your cousin was at the campus earlier?" I asked Sana who's currently has her eyes focused on the road.
I'm currently here at the passenger seat. And yes, after we had our date earlier at the school festival, she insisted on driving me home.
I just found out that Sana has a license and can drive on her own but her parents doesn't let her in case she'd go somewhere she's not supposed to that could ruin their image, probably at the bar or something.
"Yep, he's a little bit of a bitch before when we were still going to the same school. But now he's back and became a huge-ass bitch." Sana said in frustration.
"Why do you call him... that?"
"We were close before because he's such a cool guy. Back when I was still an introvert, he's always the one to lead our circle of friends into these fun, reckless 'adventures' as he called. He's also the eldest so he's basically the big brother of the group. But he changed as soon as he began liking my friend, Yuka. He began focusing on getting her to like him back that he practically abandoned us. His attitude also changed from being the best older brother to a dramatic and spoiled bitch who wants to get anything he wants because his father fulfills his wishes yet he's still being ungrateful to him."
Sana continued and told me why Shawn started hating on his dad. I have to admit, it's painful for his part, knowing that he lost someone valuable to him.
But Sana said that Shawn's at fault too. He was never there to take care of his mother as well since he goes straight to parties that he was invited in after class. In result, he goes home so late at night. Shawn's partly at fault but he never realized his own mistake.
I think I now understand why she's so upset about him. Not only did he came back with disappointment, it's also because of how he treats his dad even though he has his own flaws too. Knowing Sana, she probably got upset because she had always hoped that her father would treat her the same after realizing his mistake.
"This is about his father's treatment at him, right?" I asked her even though I already know the answer.
"Yeah. At least Shawn's dad made up to him after his mistake. But my dad? I was abused, tortured, and punished for something that I don't even want to accomplish, which is inheriting my parents' business."
We haven't been dating that long yet I already knew Sana so much. Heck, we aren't even official yet. I wonder when we would be?
We stopped at a red light. I took this opportunity to hold her hand and calm her down.
"Thank you for being here for me, Dahyunie. I love you so much."
"I love you, too, Sana-unnie."
Then we kissed passionately until a car's horn interrupted our moment, making us both pull away from the kiss.
That's when we realized that the light has turned green already so we just laughed it off and she continued driving me home.
---
"Thanks for driving me home, unnie." I smiled at her while blushing. This is the first time someone had ever drove me home. If you don't count the time when Sana's driver was the one driving the vehicle while we sat in the backseat, that is.
"I wish I could all the time, my hyunie. Once I'm not inside my parents' prison cell anymore, I'd do this everyday for you." That made me blush even more.
Such a sweet talker. I love her.
"Save your cheesy side for tomorrow, unnie." I giggled.
"It's true, though. Say, I'll say something about Shawn." I nodded at her statement, letting her know that I'm listening.
"Shawn likes our friend, Mina. I'm pretty sure you already know who she is. But Mina isn't interested in anybody, unlike the rumors about her and him says. And I know your friend, Chaeyoung, likes her. I suggest she better make a move on Mina already so that Shawn could stop eyeing on her."
"This would make Chaeyoung so happy, thanks unnie!"
"Alright now, go inside. Your mom's probably waiting for you already." I nodded and kissed her cheek then opened the car door.
"Take care on your way home, I love you." But before I could get out of the car, she grabbed my face and planted a kiss on my lips that shocked me.
"Sorry, kiss on the cheek isn't enough." Sana chuckled, "Off you go then. See you tomorrow."
I got out of her car before she winked at me. I probably be looking like a tomato because of her actions. I just waved goodbye as she drove off.
I went inside the house and found my mom looking out the window, glaring at the road where Sana's car was located earlier.
"Mom?" I called.
"Dahyun, stop hanging out with that girl. She's bad news."
"What?"
