Ch. 18

Dahyun's POV

I don't understand. Why would my mom want me to avoid hanging out with Sana? She was okay with her before. Then Sana introduced herself and now I'm suddenly not allowed to be with her anymore.

Is my mom not telling me something about it? Did she held some grudge against the Minatozakis? I need to find some clues about this.

"Earth to Dahyun? Hello?" Chaeyoung snapped me back from reality. I must've been thinking a lot about the reasons why my mom would potentially hate Sana.

Besides close to getting me pregnant at a young age, alright...

"Sorry. Say, Chaeyoung. Aren't my mom and yours classmates back when they were in highschool?" I questioned the now confused cub.

"Yes?"

"Do you know who else did they have in their class?"

"Pretty sure Nayeon-unnie and Jeongyeon-unnie's moms are classmates with them too. I'm not sure about the rest."

"Do you have some kind of their old class picture or something? If so, can I borrow it?"

"Whoa, take it easy, bro. I think my mom has hers still, but what exactly is your reason for it?"

I sighed and calmed myself down before speaking again, "It's just that... Ever since Sana-unnie introduced herself to my mom as a Minatozaki, my mom's been protective of me from her. I don't know the reason but I'm guessing something happened between her and Sana-unnie's mom or dad."

"I know for sure Sana-unnie's dad ain't it. Momo-unnie told me that their dads are classmates back in Japan." Tzuyu spoke. I almost forgot she was with us for a second.

"Hold up, hold up- since when did you and Momo-unnie became close?" Chaeyoung asked confusedly. Oh yeah, she doesn't know that Momo and Tzuyu are a thing.

"Since... I've known her in vet-med. We talked and just... yeah." I smirked at how Tzuyu responded. She's trying to restrain herself from blushing, I can tell.

Fortunately for her, Chaeyoung was oblivious of it and just replied with an, "Oh..."

Tzuyu cleared her throat and tried to change the topic, "So... We're left with Sana-unnie's mom."

"There's a possibility." I looked at Chaeyoung, "Let's go to your house later, Chae."

Chaeyoung nodded, "I'll tell my mom and ask her for their class picture as well. Maybe we could even ask her some questions about their class, too."

"Alright. Let's get back to class. We can talk about this later."

Both of them just agreed and we all went to our respective classes.

Since Chaeyoung's at the other side of the 1st floor, Tzuyu and I split up with her and went to our class.

Before I entered my classroom, I saw Tzuyu almost bumped into Momo as soon as the door in the vet-med's room opened. They giggled before they bowed at each other, probably apologizing at the same time.

They're definitely the most wholesome couple I've seen. Not that I'm envious, but Sana and I's story didn't really started with something... wholesome like theirs.

Even so, I'm not asking for anything else. An unfortunate event lead me to finally finding someone I'd love. I wouldn't want to change that for the world.

I'll get to the bottom of this. I'll find out why she doesn't seem to like your family and convince my mom that you're not like them; you're worth even more than them. If it's not you, then I don't want to love anymore.
