Dean was sitting tied up in a chair. Blood was all over his body. Suddenly, a man walked in the cell and sat next to him. "Are you going to take the offer?" he asked expectantly. "Forget it, you son of a bitch." The man threw Dean an evil smile and disappeared.
When someone tapped me on the shoulder, I woke up. My whole body was full of sweat. "Emma, what are you still doing here? You said you wanted to go home." said Toby, who owned the bar. "Sorry, I fell asleep." "Another nightmare?" I nodded and got up. "Can you bring me a beer?"
"You've really had enough. Go home." I grabbed my bag and left the bar. A lot had changed since Dean's death. Sam stopped hunting and I tried to drown my nightmares with alcohol. But unfortunately, that didn't always work. I looked at my cell phone. Four missed calls from Bobby followed by three missed calls from Sam. I sighed and walked through the streets until I reached the hotel where I had been staying for the past few weeks.
I went to my room and lay down on the bed when I got a call. I didn't know the number, but I answered it anyway. "Who is it?" I asked tiredly. When I heard Dean's voice, I froze. "Sara, it's Dean. Listen to me, I'm alive." A tear ran down my cheek. "This isn't funny." I hung up and wiped the tear away. My cell phone rang again. "Stop it, whoever you are. Please stop." I threw my phone against the wall and tried to stay calm.
This time I woke up to a knock on my door. When I opened it, Bobby and Sam were standing there. "What are you doing here?" I asked until I saw him. It was Dean. I couldn't move. It couldn't be true. Dean was dead. "Sara, it's him," Sam said softly. "Hey, baby," Dean replied, throwing me a smile. I ran to him and took him in my arms.
"How did you get out of hell?" I asked, hugging him tightly. "I was told that an angel, Castiel, saved me." I smiled slightly and whispered "Castiel." "We did a ritual to summon him." "What did he say?" I asked curiously. "That God commanded him to do it and that they have work for me." I looked into Deans beautiful green eyes and kissed him softly. "I'm so glad you're back." Bobby looked at us, confused but then he started laughing. "I never thought that something could happen between you." "Me neither" Dean replied with a big smirk. One week before
"One more," I called out to Toby as I took a big swig of beer. He rolled his eyes, but complied with my request. Suddenly, a man in a trench coat was standing next to me, staring at me. I hadn't seen him coming at all.
He put his hand on my shoulder and everything turned. Shortly after, we were standing in the street. "How...?" I didn't know what to say. "You shouldn't drink so much Sara." Confused, I looked at him. How did he know my name. "Who are you?" "Castiel. I am an angel of the Lord."
My eyes widened. "An... an angel?" He nodded. "I have a mission to find you and give you this." He handed me a necklace with a purple gemstone. "What is this for? Why do I need this?" He looked around to make sure no one was around. "We don't question our orders. He turned around, probably to leave. "Wait." I called out to him. "Can you ... teleport me back...or whatever. I haven't finished my beer yet."
He looked at me seriously. "Stop drinking. It's not good for you. Why did you even start?" I groaned. "That's my business, not yours." Castiel looked at me with a confused look, took a step toward me, and gently touched my forehead. "I'm sorry about that, about your boyfriend. You really loved him." I looked down at the floor. "Yes, I did."
Then I heard a flap of wings, and he was gone. I shook my head. I was sure that I had imagined it all. But then my eyes fell on my hand, in which I held the necklace ....
