I was on my way home when I heard something rustling. It sounded like a big animal, but I couldn't see anything because it was already dark. I walked on quickly without looking back. There was the sound again. The fact that it wasn't long until I got home calmed me down a little, but I still couldn't keep my breathing steady. It was getting faster and faster. Since I knew about the cruel creatures lurking out there in the dark, even the slightest noise was an alarm signal. Just to be on the safe side, I reached for the small dagger I always carried in my coat pocket, ready to defend myself at any second. But when I turned around, I suddenly felt a strong pain in my head and everything went dark.

When I woke up, I was tied up. Oh no. That wasn't good. That wasn't good at all. I looked around nervously. It seemed like I was in a warehouse. I began to struggle against the ropes. Nothing happened. Damn it. I didn't want to die; I had barely lived my life yet.
Then there was a loud noise. I could feel the first drops of sweat forming on my forehead. The door opened and a young man came in with a big gun. I breathed a sigh of relief. As he knelt beside me, he smiled slightly. "Everything's gonna be alright, okay? You hear me?" I nodded and smiled back. He cut my bonds and helped me to stand up. "Thank you. What happened?" I asked, confused. "You were kidnapped by a... man." I looked at him, right in the eyes and noticed the look from myself I had been seeing in the mirror for years. But I couldn't force myself to look away. His eyes had caught my attention. They were in a beautiful green. He probably thought it was really creepy that I was staring at him like that, but I didn't care.
"You probably mean monster.I know there are many. What kind of monster is it?" Seeing that I was shaking, he took his green jacket and pulled it over me. He didn't just look good, he was also a gentleman. "I'm not sure. Here, take this."
He handed me a small pistol. "If you see anything moving, shoot. Without thinking. I promise you, we'll kill this son of a bitch."We ran through the warehouse, straight to the front door and tried to open it, but it was stuck. "Damn it, " he said, pointing in the other direction. "There's another exit over there. C'mon." I followed him until we suddenly heard something. It was the same sound from before. Or yesterday? I had lost track of time. We turned quickly, just in time to avoid the monster's huge claws. But it had already thrown away the man's gun and was cornering us now. I gathered all my courage and fired. Missed.
Now it got even madder. I aimed again, right at its head. The man shouted something at me, but I couldn't hear him. I concentrated to keep my breathing calm and the I fired. The bullet hit the monster's head. It staggered and fell to the ground with a horrible scream. The man looked at me in surprise. "Wow, that was awesome." I smiled in relief. "I'm Sara, by the way," I said, taking a deep breath to calm myself. "Dean." He looked at me worriedly. "Are you alright?"
"My head hurts, but otherwise, yeah." "I know someone. He doesn't live far from here. He can take a look at it." I nodded. " Thank you, for everything you've done."
"No problem." He smiled softly. "Now let's go."
