"I think I can replace the latch. So let me do that." Mira volunteered, taking over what the old lady was doing with her shaky hands.

Over the past few weeks everyone has tried day and night to get their calls. No one had still gotten it, but they were not disheartened. Well they could not have been, Kai either motivated or punished them every time they even spoke of quitting. Surprisingly, Nina and Mira were the only ones now who had not spoken of quitting since.

Now in her free time, she was helping with the orphanage. There were several property damages which they had saved up enough money for to fix. Mira had also tried to help by donating her savings. The place looked to be barely standing so she wanted to help out the kids in any way possible.

"Mira sweety, you've already been doing everything I tried to do. Are you worried about me? It's okay, I'm too young at heart, don't worry about my physique." Becky, the old lady Mira kept taking over comforted her. The orphanage had two guardians, elderly Becky and the much younger Elizabeth.

Becky looked to be at the brink of dying but always was the first one to volunteer and work or even take care of the kids and do so happily. Mira had quickly grown quite fond of the kind woman who already treated her with so much love.

"Of course you're extremely young Becky. That's not what I meant! I mean you should go have fun. That's the best part of growing old. Get the young ones like me to work, suffer and order around. Now go play with the kids. I better not see you working." Mira said with a playful glare which caused Elias to chuckle.

"If only she listened for once. You may not be old Becks but you sure are ignorant." Elias said as she lightly smacked his head before walking away smiling.

They chuckled a little then Elias walked towards her and started helping her with the latch.

"How's your call training going Elias? I forgot to ask."

"Not that great honestly. I feel like I'm just sitting around because there's not much to do. Feels like I'm wasting time as there is less physical work you know?" He said and she nodded.

"Have you spoken to the others?" She asked.

"Just Ares. Met him at the market, he was talking my ear off about how he'll get it first or something." He said and she snickered.

"I think Nina might get it first." She said and Elias nodded.

"Your sister is very talented, I heard."

"I heard so too." She said concentrating on the fence while Elias chuckled.

"Sorry, I know you two do not get along." He said, putting on the final screw.

"It's okay. Have you heard anything from Gael." She asked, changing the topic.

Gael was currently on a mission with Kai because Kai referred to him as lazy and especially put in a request for him to join his current mission to the chiefs.

"I heard he's with Master Kai on a mission. They should be coming back soon though." He said and she scrunched her brows a little.

"Why did Kai take Gael." She asked.

"I don't know." He shrugged off getting up and then helping Mira up.

"Mira don't go off before lunch please." They heard Elizabeth say. Mira wanted to decline as she did not want to hog onto the little resources they get provided with. But she wanted to stay too, she loved it here. Everyone was so kind and offered her so much love. Even though the place looked like it was barely standing, Mira wanted to live here forever.

"No it's okay, I'll come back some other time. I have to get home and then I also practice for my call. Bye kids, bye Liz, Becky, Elias." She said running away before they could stop her.
