Mira's whole body shook as she started to feel like she had grown unaware of her surroundings. What was happening? Did they make it out of the quake? No, her feet felt like it was jelly. Was she moving?

"MIRA RUN! WHY HAVE YOU STOPPED M?!" Elias shouted.

Huh? Was he talking to her? He must be, there were no other Miras here. But she was running right?

"GAEL PROTECT MIRA! SHE'S NEXT TO YOU. MIRA WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"

Why was he screaming? Was he screaming? She could hear a noise but his voice was blurry to her.

The ground had started to break before they could reach the open field. Ares punched another tree about to hit him, breaking it open and away from him. Nina on the other hand protected both her and Elias, as they had unintentionally grouped together when they ran.

Gael frantically teleported in front of Mira, who had zoned out mid-way from running.

What was up with her? He bent her down so her frame laid underneath him as more branches started to fall towards them.

"ARES GET YOUR FUCKING DRAGON HERE!" He shouted and followed it with a hiss. He looked down at his friend who looked almost unconscious, except her eyes were open.

"BITCH WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING, WE HAVE TO GET OUT!" Gael slapped her arm to try and snap her out of whatever trance she was in.

"MIRA YOU USELESS CUNT YOU'RE GOING TO GET US ALL KILLED!" Nina shouted but screamed more when the found beneath her feet started cracking.

"I can't get my call here. The ground's moving too much." Ares said, losing all hope. They were in the middle of broken trees and the quake had no plan on stopping anytime soon.

"GUYS, TRY AND RUN. I'LL BE HERE WITH MIRA, DON'T WORRY. GO!" Gael instructed as he tried to teleport with Mira's body. He groaned in frustration for being so weak. He still had not mastered teleportation with someone else, he could only do it alone.

"WE AREN'T LEAVING YOU GUYS!" Ares shouted in frustration and tried to move towards Gael and Mira, to help. Gael's power was not suitable for this.

"Go! Stupid." Gael mumbled as Ares moved closer to him, further away from the open ground.

Another groan from Gael increased Ares' speed as much as it could under the circumstances. He was in pain; anyone could tell. He had been shielding Mira from all the breaking trees using his back as protection.

"GUYS!" Gael heard Nina's scream. Elias and her watched horrified as a large tree started bending forward about to fall on top of the three of them. Before they could even register it, Kai's hands jumped forward stopping it from falling.

She then noticed he had stopped the ground by forcing his palm against it. Elias, Nina and Ares thus watched in awe as he stopped all the movement in mere seconds. Before they could even register his presence, he pushed the tree in the opposite direction and ran towards Gael, supporting him by holding him upwards and preventing him from crushing Mira with his weight.

"He was holding the whole thing with his fingers." Elias stared horrified at his powerful mentor.

Kai looked at all of them, sighed out of relief. They were alright.

"Gael, are you okay?" Ares ran towards his best friend.

"Someone slap that bitch awake." He groaned out of pain, referring to Mira. He then looked at Kai and glared, "What took you so long?"

Kai smiled and laid him down, facing his back upwards. "Sorry, everyone."

Mira slowly got up, stared at Kai. When did he get here? Did the ground stop?
