"And then we should probably add this to that and hammer it." Mira said. The two sad joint pieces of wood were the next ones to snap. They both groaned.

"Fucking shit." Ares mumbled frustrated and threw another piece on the ground breaking it too.

"Ugh! How do people even do these? How are buildings and transportations even made? What the fuck? Why is life so impossible!" Mira groaned and took another piece to try and join it.

Ares laid down groaning, contemplating whether giving up was the best option at this point. They were in on it for about half an hour and they have yet to build anything. Rando was supposed to check up on them soon and yet... nothing.

"Why are you still doing that? Just forget about it." He asked after about ten more minutes, getting sick of Mira's hammering and groaning.

"Kai always says that I'll only lose when I give up." She shrugged and took another piece. Ares rolled his eyes as the miserable girl kept failing. He got up, glared at her before taking a piece and joining her.

"You listen to him?" He asked with a brow raised after a while. All he has seen so far is her arguing and getting in trouble with him.

"Of course I do, he's our mentor. I respect him a lot."

"You respect him a lot and yet you go around calling him Kai. I don't get you Mira." Ares said.

"I'm just petty." She shrugged. She was, the only reason Kai was still Kai and not Master to her was because she still was not Mira to him. Granted, he called her by her own name the other night but not the way either of them would have guessed.

The duo continued their work and soon the constant disappointment returned into excitement. After rereading the manual, trying a few more times and being patient with the process, they had finally done it. They hugged out of joy, finally having two pieces of unbroken wood joined firmly together.

"VICTORY IS OURS!" Ares jumped alongside Mira, still hugging each other.

"FUCK YOU, WOOD! WE'RE BETTER AND MUCH SMARTER THAN YOU. WE'RE THE BEST NINJAS IN AHANA!"

"YA WE ARE!" Ares shouted.

They both then went back to work after a quick victory dance, wanting to finish at least the frame right before Rando came back to check.

And truly, after a few more minutes of pure dedication and hard work they had finally built the entire model. Mira clapped her hands out of joy.

"We did it! We really are the best!" She said and Ares nodded in agreement.

"They'll see! We probably finished before Nina and Elias. And they laughed at us for what we did on our first mission! TODAY, WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS." Ares said pumping his fist up into the sky as if fist bumping it.

"That's right we are. We'll laugh at them today!"

"Are you two done with yo... WHAT IS THAT EH?!" They heard Rando's yell. Their smiles turned to frowns at his fury as he looked around, frantically walking through the junkyard the two had created. The once clean wide yard had turned into a landfill of broken wood and a... miniature model of a roller coaster?

"What did you two make? Why is it the size of my arm at most?! And what is up with all the broken wood? Is this some kind of sick joke?" He said seething out of anger but preventing himself from completely losing it. He held his palm against his forehead while taking breaths in.

"What do you mean? We did exactly what you asked." Ares said. "Here are the measurements you provided Rando."

"And below that I've written clearly; multiply by hundred fifty. Are you dumb kid?! And the wood you have put to waste! What am I going to do."
