"And it will be assigned to, Ares Lieghen, Elias Alvarez, Nina Nagami and Mira Nagami." Chief A spoke. Both Mira and Nina rolled their eyes together. Kai noticed the action and pinched her arm which caused her to hide a groan.

NINA ALSO DID IT!

She just glared at the ground. Is he holding a grudge against her now?

"Is something wrong Ms Nagami?" She heard Chief A's voice which caused her to look up and shake her head.

"Why did you roll your eyes then girl?" He followed up. Of course, she was the one who got caught. She swore she saw Nina roll hers too.

All this attention only caused Chief B to wither in anger. This girl bought him embarrassment for as long as he could remember.

"I poked her. That's why." Elias defended her and then cringed at his own words. Why? Why did he do that?

Kai sighed with his eyes closed due to his two buffoons.

"And you would do so in front of the elites because?" Chief B glared which caused him to step back. "Answer the orphan boy."

"Because I told him to. Are we done here?" Gael yawned as Nina's father's glare settled out.

Three buffoons.

Gael.

Chief G's only son. An elite brat who will never get scolded by the chiefs. Chief B wouldn't dare try, even though he had an ick for Chief G but no matter what, they were high ranked as a family.

"Gael." His father spoke out and he looked at his father now and rolled his eyes. "Show some manners, boy."

"Aren't you going to scold me? I rolled my eyes too. Or is it just the insolent brats and orphan boys who get the scolding. That's rather prejudiced." Gael asked chief B.

"Look-" The chief snapped at the discourteous boy only to get cut off by their mentor.

"I apologize for my students but I believe as their teacher, it's my duty to talk to them about this kind of behavior. So I will take care of my duty. Are we done sirs?" Kai spoke out with a stiff smile. Mira turned to look at him when she felt a hand of his on her shoulder. She realized the other was resting on Elias' shoulder. His unusually tight voice made it obvious for Mira that he was angry.

"No, Kai you have been assigned another mission and I'm sending my son with you. I'll send the details to your house, and I hope you take care of him well." Chief G said with a small smile and Kai nodded.

Gael groaned. Why was he born with magic? He could have been mortal and lived a peaceful life but no. Stupid magic.

Suddenly he felt a smack to his head which caused him to stumble backwards and fall onto Ares. Ares helped him back up to his fit whilst chuckling as Gael glared at his father.

"Kai may have let you off the hook boy but I'm watching and remember I'm still your dad, not just the chief. See you at home kid. Good day to the rest of you." He gave a sweet smile at the others before disappearing and then appearing at his chair.

"WOAH YOU CAN TELEPORT!" Mira said excitedly whilst pointing a finger at him. Chief B glared at her. Kai stepped forward and pulled her hand down.

"We'll be leaving now. Thank you." Kai said, then turned Mira around and the others followed his lead.

"But he was being so cool. I just asked, why is it a big deal?!" She said frustrated.

"It's alright Kai, let her go. What's your name girl?"

"Mira Nagami." She turned back around to face him with a grin.

"Gio Dawson. It's a pleasure to finally be able to introduce myself to you. Good luck with your mission. Hopefully we'll talk again when we're both off duty. " He smiled and Mira grinned before waving goodbye and running back to her squad.
