Mira was now getting a makeover for their alleged special night. The ladies in the town surged her with a bunch of tips she did not want to hear, more focused on how she would have to deal with her 'Johnny' when she gets into the room they are decorating.
"And what a man you got. Good choice over that creep Davis!" Another woman said and the others nodded dreamily.
Well...
When Kai had gone over to deduce why they had attacked, Mira went and spoke to the little boy who told her an interesting story about the runaway couple who left Davis at the altar. The girl, Isla was from another land but was promised her hand in marriage to Davis by her father. She ran away with a man named Johnny and was missing currently. Davis and his goons have been acting a bit insane about the entire thing, bringing the small population over the edge with the situation.
The people were willing to do anything to move on from this, but they were made to wait in front of the town's gate everyday by the delinquents in case Johnny and Isla dared show their faces. However, the kid comforted her by telling her that newlyweds were largely celebrated in this town. If they could only get over the Davis thing, the people would openly welcome them and provide them with as much luxury as the town could afford.
Mira took the kid's story as an opportunity. She was hungry, and wanted a nice place to crash in. So now they get to have a good room to themselves, while the town also gets to move on from this topic.
It's a win win situation. Other than for Davis. It was crazy that he agreed to marry someone he never met, good for Isla for running away.
Now it seemed like he was too scared of Kai to object anymore.
"You know my first night, oh it was so good. Want some tips?" Another one spoke as Mira blushed furiously. What she had not anticipated were the sex tips and tricks she was getting.
She was not afraid of or embarrassed at the idea, it was with who they were referring to when they said she was going to spend the night with a man.
"We even put some food in the room. You know, you guys can feed each other then feed on each other." The ladies giggled.
"Okay, that's enough. Leave the girl alone." Another elder woman said and brought out a gorgeous looking pink dress.
"And all done." After a while, they finished getting Mira ready.
They turned her around and she paused.
Her eyes watered as they cheered onto her. She felt like a princess. The color accented her skin and made her glow. She was illuminating.
"What do you think Isla?!" They gushed. After she stayed quit, one asked again. "Isla?"
"Oh, ya me. I'm Isla, right." She said nodding frantically.
"Aw she's forgotten her own name; she loves it so much. Can't wait to hear what it does to Johnny." They all laughed and led her to the room.
"It's sound proof, don't worry."
They pushed her in and locked the door from outside, giggling and walking away to give the couple from privacy.
Kai who turned angrily started talking,
"WHAT WERE YOU-" He stopped as soon as he looked at her and his breath stunted. "Woah."
His cheeks then reddened as she stared at him.
"Okay, don't get mad I can explain." She said but then her eyes fell on the flower petals shaped like a heart on the bed with tons and tons of candles all around the room. As promised, food was kept on a table at one side of the room. "Oh good, they did give us food."
