"Hey Silo. Who's a good little snakey?" Mira cooed at the white skinned snake with gray spots. Mira liked how its skin resembled Kai's platinum hair.

Nina scoffed at her sister.

"What now?" Mira glared.

"Nothing, just how pathetic you are. Did you ever even pay attention in camp? Calls don't like or understand people other than their owners. How have you graduated, I wonder sometimes." Nina said pompously.

"I graduated with a life, you graduated as a know it all bitch." Mira attacked back with a snicker, but then she felt a push behind her.

Nina smirked as Mira fell forward.

Nervously, she glanced up at Silo to gauge its reaction.

The snake slithered towards her and bit her hard on her hands. She hissed at the pain whilst Nina laughed at her misery.

Mira glared at her sister who stood up straighter fearing the snake's aggression, not expecting it to be as extreme.

One day, just one day, when Mira gets her powers she would do the same things to her.

"Ugh." Gael mumbled. His voice etched with pain of having to stay awake during his favorite part of everyday, the night time, where he got to do what he loved the most: sleep.

"You are incredibly weak." Ares commented, still enthusiastically holding up the buckets without any sign or tiredness.

Mira groaned. She laid down due to the inability to stand, with the pain that the snake caused. Unfortunately, it was unwilling to affiliate with her pain and bit her again.

Mira screamed out in pain as the snake did it once again. She had to stand or the snake wouldn't stop hurting her.

"Are you crying?" Nina smirked at her cry baby sister.

"God forbid I feel any pain." Mira said, trying to hold her tears in as she stood up. She felt like shit, her buckets were filled the most and now the pain from the snake's bites. It was not poison, of course not. Kai wouldn't do that right?

It was however still extremely painful, felt like a thousand burning hot thick needles were penetrating her arms continuously every second.

"Not cool Silo. I thought we were friends." Mira glared at the snake while still trying to keep her tears at bay.

"It's okay Mira, I know you must be in a lot of pain. Don't think too much about it and it will be over before you know it." The guy who had hid behind her tried to comfort the girl.

"Who are you again?" She asked which caused him to blush out of embarrassment.

"No sorry, I don't mean it like that. I just want to know your name. You know, to be friends?" She clarified. He seemed to not be of an important clan or he would be more popular. He was probably from one of the more middle tier clans.

"Elias, I'm from the orphanage. I attended the camp on scholarship." He mumbled the last part, looking down dejected.

"You got a scholarship?!" Ares said suddenly, all smug, as if he couldn't believe it. "Guess they give everyone scholarships these days."

"Yes I don't understand it either. All you did was hide behind that pathetic loser during Master Kai's challenge. Why would you get the scholarship? You have done nothing but proven yourself useless to be frank." Nina added snootily.

"You both are too smug for people who also failed to lay a finger on Kai. At least I hit him with something." Mira said getting annoyed at them for attacking Elias unnecessarily.
