"COME ON ARES, LET'S GO GAEL!" Mira and Elias screamed with their might as soon as the whistle went off.
"YOU CAN DO IT NINA!" Elias coyly added as Mira rolled her eyes.
They cringed when a bolt of lightning hit Ares. He shrunk in pain, causing both Mira and Elias to cheer more for him.
"YOU CAN DO IT ARES!"
"YOU'RE SO AMAZING."
They then watched Nina and Ares rush through the fall whilst Gael stood behind, still as ever.
"What is he doing?" Elias asked, flustered.
Elias gasped as he followed his previous action by lying down instead of actually walking through the rain.
"WHAT IS HE DOING?!" Elias asked, bewildered by his behavior.
"I don't know. But let's just trust him." Mira mumbled, also taken aback by his behavior.
"GAEL! COME ON GAEL." Elias screamed to increase his adrenaline but he remained still as ever. Well to be fair he had moved, but that movement was a single yawn.
"I think he doesn't want to do it." Elias frowned.
"What do you mean he does not want to do it?!" Mira glared at Gael.
"GAEL YOU LITTLE BITCH GET THE FUCK UP!" Mira screamed from the top of her lungs, as Gael continued to ignore her.
"COME ON GAEL!" Mira shouted yet again. "BITCH GET THE FUCK UP AND WIN THIS THING! PLEASE!"
He finally groaned and opened his eyes to look at Mira. He sighed, sitting back up and looking at the rain field as his peers got shocked by lightning one at a time.
"What is he doing?" Mira mumbled but then it hit her, which caused her to smile.
"He's trying to win. He's thinking!" Mira clapped her hands out of joy and Elias smiled relieved.
"Thank God. YES GAEL!" Elias cheered.
He was still not going in though.
"Shit, Ares." Elias frowned at his other friend on the ground groaning in pain. Mira turned her head towards him and gasped out of fear.
"COME ON ARES!" They both cheered and cringed as he then blacked out.
"Oh my God!" Elias gasped.
In seconds he was removed from the field, Mira let out a sigh of relief when he saw Ares being carried to the healer by Kai.
"He's out, isn't he?" Mira frowned.
"He's okay, that's what matters." Elias smiled slightly and Mira nodded reassuringly.
"M, you're okay right?" Elias asked again after a while. Mira ignored his question which caused him to frown.
Truthfully, she was also embarrassed alongside hurt. How was she supposed to tell him everything? Getting rejected by their teacher was definitely not something one openly goes around announcing.
But he was her best friend. And she wanted some solace.
"I'm okay." She said sighing. Elias frowned but let it go, still dejected about her state.
Mira looked away from Elias. Her eyes fell on a vendor selling roses to a shinobi couple. The girl laughed excitedly as he put the rose in her hair. She smiled at them as her eyes watered.
"What is Gael doing?" Elias stared horrified, grabbing her attention towards Gael. She quickly wiped her tears and watched as Gael opened his shirt exposing his toned body. Her expression morphed from dejected to a pure petrified one.
