"I can't believe I said something like that, in front of everyone" Tess wheeped, her face buried in Art's chest, ears crimson red as he was hugging her giving her small pats on her back

"You do realise in what position you're in right now right?" I commented looking at them

"SILENCE!, it's your fault okay, you just had to call me 'sis'" she lashed out

We were currently waiting in line in the administration building's first floor, waiting to be evaluated and to be assigned to our room, I could feel everyone and I really mean E-V-E-R-Y-O-N-E was stealing glances and whispering about us, well actually about Art and Tess after she dropped the bombshell the news spread like wildfire and by now every single student knew about their engagement

While Tess's engagement with a human had been made public since day one everyone just thought it was an arranged marriage with some human noble to improve relationships between Sapin and Elenoir, no one imagined a commoner and human to boot to be the one engaged with the elven princess

"Oh come on have you seen their faces? I wish I could have recorded them" I said grinning

"They turned into stone, especially Clive" Mai added giggling

"Next" the female clerk behind the counter interrupted our chat calling one of us

"My turn, Tess how about stop hiding in my chest?" Art said gently

"Ok" Tess replied

"Put your hand on the crystal and channel some mana please" the clerk instructed and Art complied

"Uh?"

"Ehm could please do it again I think there's been an error in the reading" the clerk asked a little uneasy and Art channeled mana into the measuring crystal once again

"Uh? Is this thing broken?" the clerk muttered

"Is there a problem?" I heard Cynthia's voice and she appeared beside the clerk

"D-director ehm, I think this crystal is broken it keeps saying this student here is at the solid yellow stage and that he's quadra-elemental this just not possible even if we forget about being solid yellow at 12 quadra-elemental mages don't exist" the clerk explained

Cynthia stared at Art and I could feel her checking his core, her eyes gleamed in satisfaction

"I see you never fail to meet even my wildest expectations Arthur" she said in a gentle tone and a smile on her face making her look more like our grandma rather than the director of our school

"S-so i-it's correct?!" the clerk shouted astonished and I could feel everyone else in the room also growing wide eyed

"Yes, it's correct dear now let's move on the line, also Arthur, Jade I would like to speak with you two in private so I'll pay you a visit this evening after dinner ok?" she told us

We just nodded and Art received his bag which contained books for our courses and a manual listing all the rules before walking away

"Next" the clerk called and I walked up

"Please channel some mana in the crystal" she instructed and I also put my hand on the crystal imbuing it with a drop of mana

"INITIAL SILVER?! QUADRA-ELEMENTAL?!" the clerk screamed and at this everyone's jaws just dropped to the ground

While in the novel Art chose to hide his elements not wanting to draw too much attention, now we had the political protection of both House Eralith and House Grephin also not having met Lucas keeps us outside the radar of the Wykes House giving us no reason to hide our strength, of course we won't reveal everything our beast wills will be our secret trump cards, hopefully this will keep at least some people from trying to mess with us since they know just how strong we are.
