Jade Leywin POV

"We're home!" Art, Lilia and I said at the same time as we entered Helstea Manor, we'll depart for the field trip tomorrow morning so we've been given permission to visit home, Mai and Tess tagged along since their parents are far too busy with the Council

"Welcome back" mom and Tabitha welcomed us in the entrance

"Dinner is about to be served so let's sit down" Tabitha told us and we all headed for the dining room, there I noticed 2 extra seats

"Ehm, will there be any guests?" I asked

"Well, more or less" mom replied with a knowing smile

"How are you brats doing?" a voice said from behind us

Turning around I could see Virion and Aya walking into the room smiling

"Grandpa!"

"Mom!"

Tess and Mai shot up from their seats and rushed to hug them

"Why didn't you tell us anything?" Tess interrogated

"We didn't know, we happened to have some business in Xyrus so we thought about spending an evening with you two, little one, unfortunately we'll have to go after dinner the Council is waiting for us" Virion explained

"Are we late?" dad's voice resounded as he and Vincent entered the room

"Just in time" Tabitha said as the maids started carrying out the dishes

We all sat down to eat and started catching up

"Lilia are you sure you already packed everything, make sure to always listen to the professor ok?" Vincent told Lilia very worried

"Yes I packed everything, I'll be fine relax dad I'm also a battlemage and we're going to a D ranked dungeon" Lilia replied sounding a little exasperated

"Still it will be your first dungeon" Tabitha added

"Jade, Art and Mai will also be there, Professor Glory is an A class adventurer as well there's nothing to worry about" Lilia remarked

"You shouldn't underestimate a dungeon, Lilia no matter if it's a low ranked one, dungeons are unpredictable" dad told her serious

"I know uncle Rey, I'll be sure to always stay in formation and follow orders" Lilia replied

"Don't worry uncle Vincent, I'll keep an eye on her since we're in the same team" Art reassured Vincent

"Thank you Arthur, knowing she's in your team really helps calm my nerves"

"Who else is on your team brat?" Virion asked curious

"It'll be me, Tess, Lilia, Roland and sigh... Clive" Art said basically spitting out the last name

"Hmm, I guess it's the same Clive you wrote in your letters, little one?" Virion asked

"Yeah, it's him" Tess replied depressed

"From what you wrote I'm surprised neither of these two disintegrated him already" Virion commented pointing at me and Art

"Jade, Arthur, don't kill anyone while at school okay" mom voiced, her face was smiling but her tone was worried

"Don't worry mom, we know, besides it's not that bad for us, we only have to deal with him when we meet him around school or during Team fighting mechanics I, Tess and Mai have it much worse" Art explained

"Why?" dad asked

"Because he's in the SC so he constantly pester us saying we shouldn't be with some ' commoners '" Tess clarified
