"The gate is open" Bairon commented as I signaled our troops to stop

"Yeah I can see that, also all the troops are gathered in front of it" I said

"Could it be a trap?" Lin asked

"Given how things went in the other cities I highly doubt it but just to be sure Mica, Bairon and I will fly there and check the situation, Lin you'll stay back with our troops and in the unlikely event that it is a trap you'll give the order for a full on assault" I ordered

"Understood, be careful, although I doubt there's anything or anyone in there that can put a scratch on you" Lin said

"Alright, let's go"

Bairon, Mica and I quickly reached the open gate, there we saw that all the dwarven soldiers belonging to the nobles who have defected were gathered here unarmed, in the center of the formation a group of lavishly dressed dwarves was standing and one of them was holding a 5 meters tall pole with a white flag placed on top, we landed a couple of meters away from the formation

"We surrend! Please have mercy!" As soon as we touched the ground the dwarf that appeared to be the one in charge spoke up

And just like in every other city since the battle at Vildorial they gave us an unconditional surrender, after the news about three scythes being defeated the alacryans abandoned Darv retreating to the beast glades, from what we've gathered so far they built a massive fortified camp but we still haven't managed to find it, of course they wouldn't take the dwarves with them and without the alacryan support the dwarven nobles who have defected to the alacryans weee left powerless against us so they just surrendered every time we showed up in a city

"*sigh* fine, by the authority bestowed upon me by the Council I declare all of you under arrest for high treason and crimes against Dicathen, you'll all be taken prisoner and escorted to the closest prison, oncs there you'll wait for your trial" I declared using magic to make sure all of the soldiers would hear me

"What do you mean prison? These commoner soldiers can go to prison but WE are nobles, we are to be treated accordingly to our status, we'll be escorted to the palace where we'll be held..."

"Shut that trap you idiot!"

"Do you have any idea who you're talking to?"

As one of the nobles tried to make a fuss the others immediately shutted him, most likely in fear that I might retaliate

"Our deepest apologies Lance Shadow, we are more than happy to accept your mercy, we will wait for our trial where we'll be judged for our crimes in whatever prison you see fit for us" the dwarf that spoke first earlier told me practically prostrating himself

"Yeah yeah whatever, just don't try anything funny" I dismissed him and snapped my fingers conjuring cuffs and shackles around their wrist and ankles

"Mica where's the closest prison?" I asked

"Mmh, Mica thinks there should be one in Willsden that still have room" Mica replied

"Willsden... Willsden... Oh right there, Bairon please tell me we already have a functioning mass tempus warp installed there"

"Yes we have one, we can start transfer them as soon as the one you carry is ready" Bairon replied

"Alright everyone, until the tempus warp is ready you'll all wait in there" I stated projecting my voice to all the soldiers as I snapped mumy fingers once again conjuring several giant cages, they weren't sturdy enough to withstand a magical attack but I doubt any of them want to test their luck by attempting an escape
