Jade Leywin POV
"YES, IT WORKS!!!" Gideon shouted with crazed eyes
"It... works.... I can..... finally.....sleep" Emily muttered weakly before collapsing on her desk falling asleep and snoring a little
"Alright we need to inform the Council about this and decide how many and where place the various tempus warps" I stated tired, after more than two months of nonstop work we have finally managed to build our own version of the tempus warp
Differently from the alacryan ones which look like anvils our version was a cylindrical pedestal 0.5 m tall and 1.5 m in diameter, matte black in color, the front side was recognisable thanks to the interface which was golden in colour and allowed the operator to turn the tempus warp on and off and of course setting its coordinates, right now it was only possible to link it to other active teleportation gates/tempus warps but I theorized that with some more tinkering I could make one capable of transporting you anywhere granted you could provide the exact spatial coordinates
Gideon and I made our way to the Council room as we knew they were in a meeting and simply burst inside, at this point the castle guards knew I was basically an advisor of the Council and although many frowned at having a 12 yo actively participating in decisions that would influence the entire continent no one dared to openly voice their disagreement as rumors of me having a SS class mana beast as a bond and being almost on the same level of the Lances myself were spread, courtesy of Virion
"We did it!" I announced as we walked in
"What the?" The whole Council (minus Aldir) shot up in surprise
"The tempus warp works!" Gideon yelled in his usual crazed tone
"Really?!" Virion inquired
"Yes, now we need to decide where and how many we will place across Dicathen" I said as I closed the doors behind me
"First we need to address something else" Bunhd voiced in a serious tone
"What is it?" I asked
"How many people know how to make this tempus warp?" he clarified
"Only 3 people, me, Jade here and my assistant Emily Watsken know" Gideon replied
"Good, if this kind of knowledge spread it will be utter chaos" Buhnd commented
"I agree it's best if only you three know how to make one, where's the blueprint by the way?" Virion agreed with Buhnd statement
"Safely stored in my dimensional ring, also I don't think we'll need to worry too much about people secretly making tempus warps these things aren't exactly cheap to make you know also even if you have the money the materials required are all incredibly rare" I replied
"How much does it cost to make one? We'll decide on how many we'll make based on the cost" Blaine voiced
"Well making one would cost around ten... thousands gold" I revealed scratching the back of my head
"Ten thousand?!" Blaine yelled and the other council members stared at us in shock
"Price aside you said it requires rare materials right? Do we even have enough raw materials to build them?" Virion observed
"That will not be a problem thanks to Jade here as he's capable of conjuring any material he wants" Gideon explained
"What?!" again everyone shouted in shock and I just conjured a small ironized diamond to show them my ability, now that I think about it I should make some artifacts using these for everyone so they have an emergency mana supply
