Jade Leywin POV

"Who's there? Show yourself!" I yelled at the mysterious voice as I tried to form a spell

"Fufufufu, we're in your mind boy so trying to use magic here is useless"

"What do you want?"

"I want you to stay here, it's not bad afterall, you'll be able to live a happy peaceful life with your family you know, no more fighting, no more war, no responsibilities, you'll be able to just enjoy your life and build a happy family with that little elf of yours, I've already shown you a glimpse of what I can do, I can make it last for the rest of your life, this can be your well deserved reward for everything you did" the voice replied

"That's just an illusion, I want to go back to the real world, I'll build my own future there I don't need your pretty lies"

"Oh are you sure you want to go back?"

"Of course I want to go back"

"Even if there's nothing left for you?"

"What?"

"Fufufu, how long do you think you've been trapped here? How much time did you spend in that little dream? What do you think had happened to your body in the meantime? And most of all what happened to Dicathen without its protector" the voice stated

"What are you talking about?"

"You've been trapped for months little boy for each day you lived in that dream a day passed in the real world, the war is over, Dicathen lost, you failed EVERYONE"

"This can't be true!"

"Oh but it is, sure they fought or well at least they tried to fight but they were just too weak, after your failure at retaking the dwarven kingdom Cadell himself personally assaulted your flying castle and killed everyone inside, do you want to see it?"

Before I could reply the darkness vanished and in its place a nightmarish scenery appeared before my eyes, the Castle was on fire and desperate screams could be heard coming from it, it the form of an intangible ghost I flew inside passing through the walls, there I saw the Council desperately trying to fight Cadell

"ALDUIN! TAKE MERIAL AND RUN!" Virion yelled in his 2nd stage as he charged at Cadell

As he closed in Bunhd and Priscilla fired spells to provide support, Cadell simply waved his hand and a gust of void wind erased the spells, then he snatched Virion out of the air, holding him by the neck Cadell kept Virion in front of himself

Virion tried to free himself pounding at Cadell's arm but despite all his efforts his punches simply bounced off the dark barrier wrapped around the scythe's sickly grey skin

"RRRAAAAAHHH!!!" with a deafening battlecry Bunhd raised a massive earthen lance from the floor

Cadell just turned himself into a gas cloud and rematerialised behind Bunhd, putting his hands on Bunhd's head he gave a sharp twist and a sickening crunch was heard as he broke Bunhd's neck

"Weak and you're supposed to be the leaders of this continent? This is pathetic, you're nothing more than trash" Cadell commented as he appeared behind Priscilla and Blaine piercing their hearts at the same time with a pair of swords

He disappeared once again and a split second before his sword beheaded Alduin it was deflected by another blade

"Your majesties, please run away, I'll buy as much time as I can" Aya stated resolutely as she assumed a fighting stance

"Oho, it seems that there is at least someone barely competent in this continent aside from the Leywin boys" Cadell stated as he dashed forward and engaged in a fight with Aya
