"So, how am I supposed to help you with this keystone? I don't know a thing about aether and although I can see it every time I tried to manipulate it nothing happened" I asked Arthur as we entered the Castle's training room

"Wait you can see aether?"

"Did I forget to tell you? Yeah I can ever since reaching integration I'm able to physically see mana particles and aether particles if I channel a bit of mana in my eyes, although I had no idea it was aether until you explained about it" I replied

"Hmm, it might be due to our djinn ancestry, maybe we should explore this, if you can get some insight in aether it'll boost your strength tremendously"

"Later, now the priority is to give you the insight contained in that cube, hopefully that will put you closer to fate, whatever fate is" I stated

"Right, returning to our original topic, in the few times I tried to interact with this keystone I discovered that it reacts to mana fluctuations in its vicinity, so I need you to cast some random spells around while I dive into the keystone" Art explained

"Ok, sure I can do that" I said as I snapped my fingers conjuring eight different spells, one for each element and its respective deviant form

Arthur took a deep breath and placed the matte black cube on his forehead, closing his eyes he remained there completely unmoving

"Do you see anything?" I asked

"Mmm, I can see some ripples here and there where I suppose your spells are active" he replied

Knowing already what to do I started casting little spells all over the room, making sure to move as much environmental mana as I could in a way it would make it interact with the ambient aether

After a good half an hour, the cube started to shine and I stopped casting spells moving my focus to Art, the cube started to disintegrate and amethyst tattos appeared below Arthur's eyes

"Cool tattos" I commented as he opened his eyes and started to look around

"Tattos?"

I conjured an ice mirror in front of his him and he examined the glowing runes drawed on his face

"Oh, yeah I have tattos"

"Mom will freak out" I joked

"Maybe" he replied laughing

"So what does that do?" I asked pointing at the runes

"It allows me to see and perceive mana" he stated

"Ok, cool and?"

"That's it"

"You're telling me the artifact that was supposedly designed to give you insight over an aspect of aether that would put you closer to obtaining fate only allows you to perceive mana? Something that anyone else is already capable of doing?"

"Okay, if you out it like this it kinda sounds silly"

"Yeah, there has to be something else" I told him trying to nudge him into the right direction, in the novel he discovered the actual use of [Realmheart] in his fight against the Wraiths but since that fight happened already I needed to make him realise that in another way

"Hey, you told me you're the first being in history to have ever forged an aether core right?" I asked after what I deemed to be a suitable amount of time had passed

"As far as I know yeah, when I was in Epheotus lady Myre, the dragon that taught me about aether, told me that the Indrath clan once tried to forge an aether core using an infant of the clan who was born without a mana core and it didn't end well also one of the djinn remnants I met told me that he never seen an aether core before so it's quite safe to assume I'm the only being that have ever succeeded in making one" Art replied
