I watched Janet and her sisters make dinner while I drank with her brothers. "So is he nice?" Marlon asked Mike.

"He seemed really nice. They are very cute actually. He was by her side the whole time we were out. He pulled out her chair, opened her doors and was all around protective."

"Really?"

"Yeah. At one point, when they thought I wasn't looking, they snuck in some kisses. It was cute. Mother was blushing."

"Aww." Jackie made a face.

"What's wrong with you?" I asked.

"I don't know how I feel about some man pushing up on my mom. I mean what does he want from her?" I heard the ladies giggle.

"What?"

"Nothing." They said.

"Well, like I was saying, I don't like this. I mean what could they do? What's he trying to get out of her?" The ladies giggled again.

"Okay. What's so funny?" Janet turned around.

"Huh?"

"Y'all keep laughing when I ask a question."

"Sorry." Janet stifled a laugh.

"Out with it."

"Fine." They came into the living room. "We're just laughing because you keep asking what he wants when he already got it."

"What?" They laughed. "What?!" All of the brothers except Mike were irritated.

"Well, mother sleeps with him." said LaToya.

"So."

"So?" asked Janet.

"Yeah, I mean he sleeps over. There's nothing wrong with that." said Tito.

"No." Janet giggled. "Mother sleeps with him." They stared. "Intimately." Their faces slowly changed in disgust.

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

"Nope. No. No. Naw uh." They all started shaking their heads.

"It's not true."

"Not mother. Not my mommy." I held back laughter as they freaked out.

"Guys, it's not that deep. We've all done it. In fact, she had to do it for us to be here to do it." said Rebbie.

"Shut up." Jermaine got aggravated.

"Jermaine, you have the most kids out of all of us. Be real." said Janet.

"Looks like you're catching up to me." Janet's face twisted and I noticed her body tense up.

"Shut up." He laughed.

"Looks like someone's mad."

"I'm not mad."

"Seems like you are."

"I'm not."

"Janet, you don't be upset by a simple observation. Maybe don't have anymore if you don't want to have a bunch of kids then don't." He chuckled.

"Whatever." She rolled her eyes and went back into the kitchen. I thumped Jermaine in the head.

"What?"

"Why'd you do that?"

"Do what?"

"You hurt her feelings."
