The company was rather strict about how their groups behaved. There were always certain rules that had to be followed and ignorance of these rules was not tolerated.

The eight members of Ateez knew that KQ was half as strict about their members' behavior than some other companies. Ateez was allowed to do pretty much anything and go anywhere as long as they asked first.

But if there was one thing the company absolutely did not tolerate, and this mostly came from the manager that Ateez so adored, it was bad actions in public.

Hongjoong and Seongwha always tried to keep their maknaes in line. But sometimes they struggled, especially when they weren't there to know what was happening. That was when they relied on Yunho or Yeosang, sometimes both, to keep an eye out. But at the times that the older two of the 99 line were involved, there was no one to keep them in line.

But hey, at least some of them still had a little bit of sense left in them. Just a little bit.

"This is a bad idea. Hyungs are going to kill us" The fact that Wooyoung was the one to say this was surprising enough without the added fact that he was currently the cleanest one out of all the 99 line kids. Mingi and San, the little shits that they were, each grabbed an arm and pulled him in to the dirty water beside them. Yunho had jumped on top of Yeosang, causing both of them to go under. Where they found dirty water deep enough to sink in was a mystery that would never be solved but they had. And now their staff and hyungs had to deal with it.

____________

Speaking of hyungs and staff, Hongjoong and Seongwha were enjoying a peaceful night alone. Without a single peep from any of the others who they assumed were either asleep or quietly playing a game in their respective rooms.

The two members were gravely mistaken.

"They went where!?" Hongjoong didn't mean to raise his voice to his manager but he was so angry that he didn't really care.

"I just got a call that they were found playing in a mud hole. Apparently it flooded yesterday and caused quite the mess and the boys found it. I have them with me now if you want to come get them or I can bring them to you. They look pretty scared and very dirty so I would suggest letting them get cleaned up before talking" The manager repeated what he had said before. Hongjoong took a deep breath, trying to remind himself that murder was wrong before he answered.

"I'll be by to get them in a moment. Thank you, manager-nim" Hongjoong hung up quickly and grabbed his keys, leaving the dorm. Seongwha gave him a strange look but said nothing, sensing that the leader was angry and would just snap if questioned.

Hongjoong's mind was racing as he showed up at the company, quickly findng which room his members were in. Their manager had not been kidding when he said they were dirty. Hongjoong barely recognized his members underneath all the dirt and mud that coated their skin and clothes and hair. How a bunch of adults could get as messy as kids was a mystery but he wasn't surprised.

"Their all yours. I expect you to have a good conversation with them and for this to not happen again" Manager greeted Hongjoong.

"It won't happen again, hyung. I promise" Hongjoong bowed respectfully, turning to his dongsaengs when he stood again. They were all avoiding looking at him which meant they knew what they did and how much trouble they were in.

"Let's go" Hongjoong motioned for the younger kids to follow him and they did. Mostly. Wooyoung seemed to move a little slower than usual and Yeosang was too nervous to walk quickly. Wherever Yeosang is, Yunho isn't far behind and Mingi likes hiding behind Yunho. San protects Mingi so Hongjoong ended up walking in front with the 99z far behind him.
