There were two pranksters in Ateez. San and Wooyoung. When those two were together, they got distracted easily and enjoyed messing around with each other, sometimes at the expense of their other members. The group didn't mind; they loved seeing their two friends interacting with each other and took joy from it. Wooyoung and San were the type that just by seeing them happy, it made everyone else around them happy too.

But sometimes things went too far. During the preparations for a big performance or tour, tensions were high and there was no room for mistakes. The chaotic duo did not seem to realize this when they went into work in the morning. They were laughing and having fun and messing around, and while normally this would not be a problem, it was one week until Kingdom and the group was stressed, tired and desperate to do good at Kingdom.

"Yah! San, Wooyoung, are you not paying attention?" Seongwha scolded the two younger members.

"Sorry hyung" San bowed his head apologetically and tried to pay attention, ignoring Wooyoung in the process. This did not sit right with the younger and he began to tease San, poking him and doing absolutely anything he could to get on the slightly older male's nerves. San ignored him as best he could but eventually he gave in and began to tease back, quietly at first but then gradually getting louder. Yunho kicked them under the table, warning both of them to be quiet and behave yet it did nothing and San just kicked him back. Yunho stopped trying after that.

Next they had to begin practicing again and that was going to be a disaster. Wooyoung had the smart idea to 'accidentally' spill some of his water right where they would be dancing and not tell anyone. He had never intentionally hurt any of them but sometimes he didn't think and that was exactly what happened in that moment.

Then San had the idea to tie Yunho and Yeosang's shoes together while they were sitting and they didn't even notice until they stood up, both of them falling. Right into the puddle of water that Wooyoung had spilt.

"Oh! Hyung, it's wet over here" Yeosang pointed to the spot, not even realizing that it was Wooyoung who was the cause of that. Yunho was angrily trying to undo their shoes but was unable to succeed. Yeosang took over yet he had no luck at all so Hongjoong helped. Seongwha came over with a towel, wiping up the water spot.

"That's strange, the staff are usually good about keeping these floors dry. Oh well" Seongwha finished his task and handed the wet towel to one of their staff members. There was only one who had seen what Wooyoung and San did: Jongho.

"Hyung, why would you do that? Someone could have gotten hurt" Jongho pulled Wooyoung to the side. Despite being one week from a big performance, there wasn't a lot of practicing going on.

"It's fine Jongho. No one got hurt, that's why I did it towards the edge of the room so we wouldn't slip" Wooyoung waved the maknae's concern aside. Jongho frowned at that but said nothing. He knew he should tell one of the oldest but he couldn't bring himself to do that. He didn't want to tell on any of his hyungs, even if their actions could have gotten one of them hurt. Making up his mind, he went over to Hongjoong.

"Hyung, don't you think it's weird that there was just a random water spot and Yunho and Yeosang hyungs shoes were tied together?" Jongho hinted, hoping the leader would figure it out so he wouldn't have to actually tell.

"I'm sure it's nothing, Jongho. Come on, get into position so we can start" Hongjoong took his place for their first song of Kingdom. Jongho shook his head and followed him.

"Hyung! I'm trying to say that it wasn't accidental. I saw Wooyoung-hyung purposefully spill his water and San-hyung tied Yunho and Yeosang hyungs shoes together" Jongho blurted out, not caring how loud his voice sounded. Luckily no one else seemed to hear him.
