Mingi and Seongwha

Mingi starts cursing at staff and Seongwha backs him up despite knowing that Mingi is in the wrong

Seongwha wished the floor would open up and swallow him. He didn't know why that thought entered his mind but it was refusing to leave. If actually didn't seem like such a bad idea even though he knew that wasn't going to happen.

While part of him knew that he should step in and remove Mingi from the room, the other part of him was siding with his dongsaeng. As bad as that sounded, Seongwha needed to argue with someone. He needed to cause a scene to quell the burning inside him for something exciting. There was more to it than that but that was the main reason why he stepped forward and began a screaming match with their staff member.

The poor man, who was just trying to do his job and failed at calming Mingi down was now being yelled at by two instead of one of his employees. Mingi had even stopped his tirade of curses to watch Seongwha, frozen in shock.

They were the only ones in there. The others had gone ahead but there has been a problem with Mingi's outfit and Seongwha had been struggling to get his mic on.

Hongjoong came looking for them, annoyed at how long it was taking for the two idols to do one simple thing.

"What is taking you guys so long?! We have to be on in ten...minutes" Hongjoong stopped, listening to the shouting that was going on inside the other room;his group's room. Being careful to not be noticed, Hongjoong slipped into the room, watching the scene before him. To say he was displeased with the words and attitude being shown by his members was a complete understatement. Their staff was new, barely out of high school and just trying to make his own way in the world. Hongjoong would have to present a hand written apology to the poor kid and hope that Seongwha and Mingi hadn't traumatized him enough to quit.

Hongjoong cleared his throat loudly, getting the attention of the other three people in the room. 

"Excuse me, but would you mind giving me a moment with my members?" Hongjoong turned to their staff, keeping his tone calm and polite. The kid bowed quickly, taking his leave. He was going to go cry in some abandoned closet before going back to work.

"You two. We have to be on in ten minutes so get your shit together and let's go. And I don't want to hear another word out of either of you when we're not on stage. You will be quiet while we are walking up there and you will be quiet when we are leaving. Until you can say something nice, neither of you says anything" Hongjoong warned. Seongwha and Mingi nodded, scared that they had been caught. 

The others noticed the tension between Seongwha and Mingi and Hongjoong but they didn't point it out. It wasn't hard to figure out that something had happened during the time Hongjoong went to their waiting room and the time they returned. 

"Hey hyung, do you want to go to the convenience store for snacks?" Wooyoung leaned into Seongwha. The oldest gave Hongjoong a pleading look but the captain shook his head.

"Hyung isn't allowed to talk right now, Wooyoung" Hongjoong stated, everyone heard him. Seongwha buried his head in his arms, embarrassed. Wooyoung stared at him for a moment before looking away. He wasn't going to ask.

"Go on to my room" Hongjoong told the two, not giving them a choice.

"We're dead" Seongwha whispered to Mingi as they walked away. Mingi had to agree. They had gone above and beyond this time. That much was clear just by the fact that Hongjoong put them on a speaking ban, something he had never done before.

Hongjoong yelled at them for ten minutes without stop. Seongwha and Mingi kept their heads down and took it. They would have to write out an apology to their staff and Hongjoong did too, as the leader.

The whole team had a movie night, Seongwha and Mingi crowded into the middle.

"So hyung?" Wooyoung nudged Hongjoong, smiling.

"Hmm?" Hongjoong didn't take his eyes off the screen.

"Are you going to replace the soap with a speaking ban?" Wooyoung teased.

"Keep talking and you'll be on a speaking ban" Hongjoong threatened, teasing. Wooyoung knew he was but just in case, he stopped talking.
