Yeosang had been sitting outside for several hours now. He was getting cold and he didn't even have his phone but at the same time, he didn't dare go back inside. Not yet. He didn't want to see Wooyoung; their fight still fresh in his mind. The things they had said, Wooyoung pinning him to the wall, him pushing his friend and every word repeating every second that he thought about it. The whole thing was like a movie playing in his head over and over again, never giving him a break.
"You shouldn't stay out here too long" Yunho made the younger man jump. Yeosang hadn't even heard him come outside.
"It's none of your business" Yeosang brought his knees up to his chest. Yunho was quiet for a minute.
"We heard what happened. Everyone could hear what you and him said" Yunho pointed out. Yeosang scoffed, turning his head to the side.
"I suppose your out here to scold me then" He spat out, still bitter about the fight. Yunho shrugged, putting his hands in his pockets. He was more than content to just stand there as long as Yeosang needed him to.
"Do you want me to?" Yunho wondered.
"Want you to what?" Yeosang looked up at his older friend.
"Scold you. Do you want me to?" Yunho repeated. Yeosang's eyes turned into little slits as he studied Yunho.
"What kind of question is that? Of course I don't want you to" Yeosang snapped, going back to staring in the distance. It was getting dark; the sun was beginning to set. On any regular day, Yeosang would have appreciated the sunset but then again, on a regular day, he wouldn't have had the chance to be outside at this time; either holed up at the company or getting cleaned up after a long day of work.
"Okay" Yunho shrugged, following Yeosang's gaze. It was quiet for a long time but finally Yeosang couldn't take it anymore.
"Is...is hyung mad? Is Wooyoung okay?" Yeosang turned his head slightly, still not looking at Yunho but no longer looking at the sunset.
"Yes. And Wooyoung has not stopped crying since you walked out. Hyungs can't even get him asleep and I know Mingi and Jongho are tempted to lace his water with something to help him. I am too but that's a bad idea" Yunho spared no details. He didn't care if Yeosang felt bad for it.
"Well shit, I don't expect you to be that honest" Yeosang attempted to joke. Yunho stared down at him, their eyes meeting for a second before the younger looked away.
"You called him a pain in the ass. You said he had no talent, Yeosang. And that he shouldn't have joined you here. Do you realize what our team would be like without him? Eight makes one team is more than just words" Yunho spoke more harshly, cutting into Yeosang with every word.
"Did you hear what he said to me?" Yeosang didn't really want to hear the things that he had said all over again. Yunho was acting like Yeosang hadn't been thinking of the whole situation since he stormed out.
"Yes. But we're not talking about him right now" Yunho corrected. Yeosang got to his feet, glaring.
"Maybe we should be. Everyone always talks about how we need to be sensitive and not get stuck in the middle or take sides but then that's exactly what your doing" Yeosang didn't know why but he wanted to fight and cause a problem. It was so satisfying to argue.
"Get inside" Yunho grabbed hold of Yeosang's collar, using it to push him inside. He followed before the younger could turn back, giving Yeosang no choice but to walk inside.
"This isn't fair!" Yeosang panicked when Yunho led him to Seongwha and Hongjoong's room, not giving him a chance to run or say anything. Yeosang looked away when he saw that Wooyoung was still in there.
"Thank you Yunho" Hongjoong bowed his head to the younger. Yunho nodded, patting Yeosang's shoulder and leaving.
"Traitor" Yeosang muttered over his shoulder as Yunho left. Hongjoong ignored that, tugging at Wooyoung's shirt to get him to stand up.
"Yeosang, come here" Hongjoong guided his older dongsaeng to one end of the bed, forcing him to kneel down on the bed. Wooyoung was made to do the same on the other side, facing his frenemy.
"What is the point of this?" Wooyoung rolled his eyes. Hongjoong pulled a chair up, facing the bed and sat down to watch his dongsaengs.
"We're not doing anything until you two resolve this issue. Everytime one of you curses or says something rude, I add five more to your punishment" Hongjoong crossed his arms, waiting. He had nothing to do so he could wait all day. He knew that eventually Wooyoung and Yeosang would start getting uncomfortable and start talking to each other.
For a long time, they just stared at each other. Sometimes one of them would look away but they couldn't for very long since there wasn't really anywhere else to turn their attention.
"This can take as long as you want, boys. It's up to you how long you take to start talking" Hongjoong reminded them. Yeosang and Wooyoung turned in synchronization and glared at him. At least they were working together now. At least he thought so.
"You called me a pain in the ass" Wooyoung started, hanging his head.
"Yeah, I did" Yeosang nodded. That did nothing to please Wooyoung.
"Why?" He wondered. Yeosang didn't even have to think about that very long. He knew why. Hongjoong was glad to see they were actually getting somewhere but he hoped it continued in the innocent manner it was supposed to.
"I was trying to help you and you were being a brat about it. I was defending you" Yeosang was aware how aggressive that sounded but he didn't care; it was true.
"Yeosang, mind yourself" Hongjoong warned. Yeosang glanced at him, nodded and turned back to Wooyoung.
"You were only making things worse the longer you prolonged it" Wooyoung pointed out. Yeosang had figured that out afterwards.
"I realized that but I was really just trying to help. I know it's no excuse for the things I said" Yeosang looked away, ashamed.
"We both said some things we shouldn't. I don't think your ideas are bad. And you are talented. You don't try to make people feel like less than you just because" Wooyoung admitted.
"And your not a pain in the ass. You don't make life worse for other people, we're a team; we're meant to clean up each other's messes. And I don't mind when you show yourself off on stage. I shouldn't have said that I didn't want you following me. I'm glad you did" Yeosang listed. He knew that he had said worse things than Wooyoung and their captain was going to make him learn from it.
"Yeah. And your parents didn't ask me to babysit you. They were worried and knew it was good for you to have a friend to rely on" Wooyoung responded. Things weren't going to be completely fine with them right away but this was a start.
"Good. Now we can get to the next part" Hongjoong stood up, moving his chair away. Neither of the two troublemaking friends wanted to know what the next part was though they had a good idea that they weren't going to like it. They were right. The best part was that Hongjoong laid down and cuddled with them afterwards and that almost made up for the fact that neither of them were able to sit for the rest of the day. Or that he made them kneel back down in separate corners for an hour to 'reflect on their words and make better choices next time'.

I'm sorry if this was ended badly. I lost motivation like halfway through. Are you ever writing something and then you just don't want to finish it but you have to because you know it'll get comments and that is the only thing keeping you alive at this point? Cause that's me with this chapter.Anyways, hope you enjoy. Take care of yourselves and yeah, take care of yourselves. Requests are always welcome.
