Mingi and Yeosang

The first time Hongjoong punished any of his members was never really talked about. The whole group knew that it had happened but it just wasn't talked about. Everytime they met someone new to the industry, it was always assumed that the first one to get in trouble was Wooyoung or San or Jongho. 

It actually wasn't either of them; it was Yeosang and Mingi. 

"Mingi-ah, are you hungry?" Yeosang leaned over the side of his bed, looking at the bunk beneath him.

"We don't have anything to eat" Mingi pointed out. Yeosang huffed, realizing that was right. He laid back down but then another thought came to him.

"Get your shoes on then" Yeosang climbed down from his bed, making sure to be quiet. It was too late for anyone to be up so he hoped that none of the others could hear him or Mingi as they left the dorms. He did make sure to have his phone on him in case someone did wake up and tried to call or text him.

They did get their snacks and went back to the dorms, greeted by Hongjoong waiting for them inside. 

"Hi hyung" Yeosang pretended everything was fine, taking Mingi's hand and leading him back to their room.

"Stop" Hongjoong turned to follow them. Yeosang came to a halt, giving in to the fact that they were caught and there was nothing to do. 

"Where did you go that was so important?" Hongjoong had his arms crossed, making him intimidating despite being half the size of Yeosang, and therefore Mingi as well. 

"We were hungry" Mingi admitted. 

"So you decided to sneak out? You couldn't have waited until morning?" Hongjoong questioned.

"Haven't you ever been so hungry that you just had to eat something?" Yeosang mirrored the captain's position. If it had been just him involved, he probably wouldn't have cared that he was in trouble, but Mingi was involved too and that changed everything.

"Yeah, I have! We're all hungry but none of us are breaking our diet or sneaking out" Hongjoong snapped. Yeosang did feel a little bad but it wasn't his fault; the team hadn't gotten a real meal in three days. He was hungry.

"No one has to know" Yeosang responded. 

"I know" Hongjoong argued. He wasn't planning on telling any of their staff; he didn't want to get his dongsaengs in real trouble. In fact, he wasn't even mad that they got food. He was mad that they snuck out to do so.

"I don't care if you were hungry but do not ever sneak out again" Hongjoong scolded, waving his finger around. 

"Sorry hyung. We won't do it again" Mingi stepped in front of his older member. Yeosang appreciated him trying but it was better if he did the talking. 

"Mingi-ah, come here" Hongjoong instructed, tucking the younger under his arm once he was within reach.

"Your lucky that our staff won't know about this" Hongjoong said, motioning Yeosang forward to do the same. He didn't argue but Hongjoong knew that Yeosang thought this was unfair and the captain didn't blame him. 

"Now go to bed. No more sneaking out" Hongjoong should have done more but he couldn't. Besides, Mingi and Yeosang were good kids; they wouldn't do it again. Hongjoong did let them keep their food and when he made his rounds later, he found that all the food they bought had been eaten and all the kids were asleep. As they should be.
