Yeosang did not get upset easily but even this was crossing the line. He wasn't just upset. He was angry, annoyed. He was infuriated.
"Jongho-ah, I want to talk to you" Yeosang tried to keep his time calm and even. Jongho looked surprised as he got up, following Yeosang to the older man's room.
"I want you to be completely honest with me. Did you go into my room and take money out of my wallet?" Yeosang used to have forty dollars in his wallet but there were twenty dollars missing. He didn't want to immediately jump to conclusions and accuse the maknae without proof but Jongho had been complaining about wanting something, that Yeosang couldn't remember, and Jongho had even said that he was twenty dollars short.
"I would never do that, hyung!" Jongho shook his head, hiding his eyes. Yeosang didn't notice and believed him.
"Okay, I'm sorry to ask. I just have some money missing. I'm not upset with you" Yeosang thought of who else could possibly go into his wallet. Jongho suddenly had an idea. Wooyoung had gone out later that day for some shopping. If Jongho could convince Yeosang that Wooyoung used his money, then the maknae would be off the hook and the problem would resolve itself.
"Yeosang-hyung, I um, well I saw Wooyoung-hyung come in here earlier. Just before he left for the shops. I don't want to get him in trouble but do you think that maybe-" Jongho trailed off, feeling bad for lying. Yeosang smiled and patted his maknae's arm.
"Thank you for telling me Jongho. Go on, I need to talk with Hongjoong-hyung" Yeosang is hurt now. He couldn't believe that his best friend would steal from him. Yeosang would have given any of his members money if they just asked.
"Hongjoong-hyung, can I talk to you? I don't want to get Wooyoung in trouble but it's important" Yeosang knocked gently on the leader's door. Hongjoong paused his work and turned to Yeosang.
"You know that I don't care if any of the others need money. As long as they ask. I had money in my wallet but some of it is missing. It was all there last night. Jongho said that he saw Wooyoung go into my room earlier before he went out. I don't want to cause trouble, I just thought you should know" Yeosang got up again and left. He did feel bad for telling on his best friend but he knew it was for the best. Hongjoong would take care of it from here.

"Jung Wooyoung" Hongjoong was waiting for Wooyoung in the living room. The dorm was empty except for the two of them."What did I do?" Wooyoung knew that Hongjoong only used full names when someone was in trouble.
"Don't act dumb. Yeosang told me everything" Hongjoong didn't appreciate the attempt to get out of trouble.
"What did Yeosang tell you? Honest hyung, I didn't do anything. I promise" Wooyoung insisted. He was trying to think of what he could have possibly done that Yeosang knew of but he couldn't come up with anything.
"I don't like being lied to, young man" Hongjoong shook his head, disappointed in Wooyoung. The younger noticed and felt bad. Even when he hadn't done anything, he managed to disappoint his hyung.
"I promise I'm not lying. Can you just tell me what this is about. I can't think of anything that I did but it would help if I knew what this is about" Wooyoung pointed out, feeling like he was pleading for his life. Hongjoong shook his head again, caught Wooyoung's wrist and threw the younger over his lap.

"You know better than to lie to me, Jung Wooyoung. You just made things so much worse for yourself, young man" Hongjoong scolded. Wooyoung bit his lip, gritting his teeth. If Hongjoong was going to spank him for something that he hadn't done then Wooyoung was going to make this the hardest punishment for Hongjoong. The one thing that the captain did not like was when the kids tried to hide their reactions when they were being spanked.

"If you think hiding your tears from me is going to work then you are wrong. We are not leaving here until you apologize. And you will say sorry to Yeosang as well" Hongjoong stated.
"I don't know what I need to apologize for!" Wooyoung insisted. Hongjoong grew tired of the lies and bared Wooyoung, hoping this would help the younger come to his senses quicker. It only made Wooyoung more upset. Hongjoong went on for a long time but still Wooyoung never said anything and Hongjoong began to doubt his own beliefs of what happened. Maybe Yeosang had been lying. Or Jongho. Wooyoung never usually took this long to admit what he did and say sorry.
Coming to that conclusion, Hongjoong let Wooyoung up and went to ask him what happened. But he didn't get the chance. Wooyoung slapped him, pushing Hongjoong away and ran upstairs. Hongjoong should have been upset at his dongsaeng hitting him yet Hongjoong knew that was deserved. It was clear now that Wooyoung has not done anything and Hongjoong had been in the wrong.
The matter did get cleared up. Jongho got harshly scolded by Hongjoong, Seongwha and Yeosang and faced the worse spanking he had gotten yet. Hongjoong went to Wooyoung, apologizing for not believing him.
"Wooyoung. I'm really sorry, I understand why you are upset and I would be too. I should have believed you" Hongjoong leaned against the closed door. Jongho was standing a few feet away, dried tears on his face. He looked pitiful.
"I told you that I didn't do it" Wooyoung opened the door, glaring at Hongjoong.
"I know. I don't know how to make it up to you but I will. Whatever you want me to do, I will" Hongjoong promised. Wooyoung seemed appeased by that.
"It's alright. I still love you" Wooyoung hugged Hongjoong, glaring at Jongho as he did. That was going to take a while longer but the two of them did end up on better terms.
