A/N:I just want to let you all know that this one has a bit of a darker tone to it. The manager in this is very abusive and does hit Hongjoong and Seongwha so if that will be something that bothers any of you, I suggest skipping this chapter because there will be no break in it. Read at your own risk.
Hongjoong knew that something was wrong. His dongsaengs kept looking at each other nervously, like they were hiding something and he needed to know what. They all had an expression of guilt, which was never a good thing.
"Hongjoong-ah" Seongwha had left the room a few minutes before but he returned now, looking worried. Hongjoong got up, going over to the taller man.
"The manager wants to speak with us" Seongwha kept his voice low. Hongjoong was worried now too and he followed Seongwha out of the room, trying not to alert the younger members that anything was wrong.
"I am ashamed of your members, Hongjoong-ssi! Who taught them to behave like this?!" The manager waved his hands around angrily, spit flying everywhere. Hongjoong refused to look at Seongwha, knowing if he did that they would both burst into laughter. Already he could feel the oldest's shoulders shaking softly with suppressed laughter and Hongjoong was barely containing his own amusement. He wasn't really sure what his kids did but whatever it was it was bad enough to have their manager angry enough to yell.
"I assure that whatever it is, I'll deal with it. Would you care to tell me what exactly they did?" Hongjoong spoke calmly even though inside he was dying of amusement. Seongwha laughed and covered it up with a cough, glancing embarrassed at the manager.
"They were making a scene in the cafeteria! One girl ran out with coffee all over her! She's a staff member" Manager stated, annoyed still but starting to calm down. Hongjoong frowned and Seongwha stood up to his full height, intimidating their manager.
"I can promise you, hyung, it was not my members. They have been inside that room all day. The only one who has left is Seongwha and you must have seen him since he was only gone for a few minutes, talking to you I presume" Hongjoong explained.
"I don't care if they snuck out or if you weren't paying attention! I saw them and I want it taken care of" The older man huffed. Hongjoong nodded, muttering a false promise that it would be taken care of and went back inside with Seongwha trailing him.
"What's wrong?" Wooyoung noticed the grim expression on the oldests' faces.
"I just had a conversation with our manager. Apparently, someone was causing trouble in the cafeteria and one girl got hurt. He thinks it was one of you" Hongjoong explained.
"It wasn't us! Hyung, you have to believe us" Yunho defended him and his members. Hongjoong held a hand up to stop him. He could see the younger idols were nervous that they were in trouble.
"I know it wasn't any of you. We've been in here all day and not a single one of you has left the room except Seongwha" Hongjoong glanced at his only older friend.
"It wasn't me Hongjoong. I was talking with the manager the whole time and even if I wasn't, I wouldn't have had time to go down there, cause trouble and be back here before the manager" Seongwha pointed out. Hongjoong believed him. This was just one big misunderstanding but he didn't see that there was anything he could do about it. Their manager hyung seemed insistent that they were the ones who did it, despite the more likely possibility that it was a trainee. The trainees were always causing trouble and pulling pranks. Plus, it wasn't like the manager had proof that it was them. But then again, he didn't have proof that it wasn't them either.
"I told him I'd take care of it" Hongjoong sound mournfully.
"Does that mean we are in trouble?" San guessed, saying what everyone was thinking. All eyes were on Hongjoong and Seongwha, waiting for an answer.
